Mine was about 7 - 10 days. I remember my back hurt more that overnight stay in the hospital than the surgery. I could stay in one place comfortably and only had discomfort when I had to readjust my position. I found that the pain meds didn't do much for me. I got better results from Tylenol. Really, plan to rest/sleep.…

Wow. I am so grateful that you have such a wonderful medical team that did find that out. However, I can truly understand your disappointment. We wait so long, follow the path, and with fingers crossed wait to get the approval. Good luck! I hope this delay is a short one!

I know there are big differences in NUT recommendations. I also had my NUT visit at 5 1/2 months. When she asked how many times a day I was eating, I was worried because I eat 5-6 times a day...Small meals and I try to limit grazing. I listen to my sleeve and when it says I'm done, I stop. I may get hungry again in an hour…

My surgeon required two support group sessions prior to surgery. I wasn't sure about my decision until I did the the support group. Something happened during the session. It just clicked that it was the right decision. I'm 5 months out. and It has been an adjustment but I am so happy I have the tool to use. It has been a…

I had a plateau 2 weeks in. It messes with your head for sure. Trust the process it will work. Plateaus happen. My last one was 3 weeks and I am five months out. I was seriously shocked the scale wouldn't budge for 3 weeks but then bam... I went down almost 2 pant sizes during that time. Hang tight!!

Thank you! Your right, my misfit says I'm at 65% to goal. 20 lbs left to go. My personal goal is 150. The Surgeon didn't really want to set a goal. Honestly, at 170.... If my weight loss stopped right now, I could be content. I am so happy not feeling pain every time I go up and down stairs. My body feels good. My blood…

I had a Fitbit flex. I had a charging issue too with the charger. It had a short in the wire. I contacted them and they sent me a new charging wire. Shortly after, it went thru the wash and it was done. I replaced it with a misfit shine. It is way more durable and I like that it takes a watch battery. They sell the coin…

I'm 9 weeks out and walking is all that I have done so far. Some days, I noticed that if I walk too far or long, I get shakey and start sweating. I haven't felt up to pushing harder. Good Luck!

I'm 9 Weeks out and I can't tolerate them at all. I happened to see in the Celebrate Pamphlet. There is a protein Powder that includes the multivitamin and Calcium. It is called Celebrate ENS + Protein. You can get samples to try at…

Gosh! Thanks for the question!! I was wondering what happened to me!! It is awful! I was thinking it was the milk based protein drinks. They seemed to really make it worse!

Thank you. I tested that by taking an acid reducer right before bed. I woke up without the nauseous feeling. I had my appointment with the surgeon today. We are going to try protonix and see what happens. Do you take the protonix before bed or in the morning?

I had a Fitbit. I had trouble with the charging cable. Also, my dog was intent on getting it. Eventually, I slipped up and left it within reach. She got it and chewed it up. This time I got the Misfit Shine. It is Metal as opposed to plastic and it operates on a watch battery instead of recharging it everyday.

I'm having trouble with the Celebrate Bariatric Chewables and the Calcium Citrate chewables. I was using JuicePlus vitamins prior and was told just to continue those until I can start tolerating the Bariatric ones.

I was sleeved March 2nd. One week out. I was on a two week Liquid diet of the optifast 800. First few days were hard but the hardest was day 5 and 6. From there everything was quick. I still have another 2 weeks of Liquid diet post op. In Hindsight, the pre surgical liquid diet is easier! Good luck. Keep your eye on the…
