I've found that by lowering my salt intake and increasing my water intake my fluctuations have gone from upwards of a 7 pound gain to only 1 or 2 pounds during my tom. I didn't make these changes just for my period week but as an overall boost to my diet and health. Happy side effect maybe.

147 and 5'3. I have a small frame according to my wrist measurement of 4.5 inches (is that how that even works?) And I want to lose 25 pounds. Mom of 15 month old twins, looking to lose 15 maybe 20 pounds. Not sure why I'm not thinner, I never have time to eat and I'm lifting and chasing them all day lol.

I always feel like the sooner I start the sooner I'll be "done". So I like to do whatever I can towards my goal as soon as I decide it's a goal.

If they can't be happy and supportive then don't include them in discussions about your weight and goals. I know that's not as easy as it sounds, but find someone who will be happy for you. Some people will complain and argue about anything.
