Ugh! Up a lb. on the scale and that's on top of the 0.7 lb water weight I've been waiting to whoosh off. Did any of you gain a little in the beginning? I'm hoping it is this. I'm not particularly sore anywhere. And my diet is almost the same thing each day; I weight everything that passes my mouth etc...

Agreed! Nailed it to me means it was a piece of cake. Barely made it means just that, it was so hard you almost quit. I need a 'Freakin tough but I did it!' box.

So yesterday was Cardio 1.0 for me. I think I'm about the MOST uncoordinated person out there! Most of the moves I got but there was some kind of criss cross move I just couldn't get my feet to work with for Tania's modification and couldn't keep up with the rest of them so I did my own kind of chicken-like weirdo dance…

Alpha Cardio first workout done! It was great... next time I will go even harder. I followed the others maybe 40% but mostly Tania. Room to improve FOR sure! :) Burned 230 calories.

Sorry another newb question...does the program have a warm up/cool down each workout or should I be ready to just jump right in at the start? :)

You know you can find Barre classes on YouTube and online subscriptions! I'm not doing this now but it's on my list to try in the future!! ;)

Yes some posters can be harsh and judgemental... coupled with online where you can't tell a person's tone too, advise can be taken the wrong way. aw @Trinique34 no judgement here!! Maybe try increasing calories a bit if you say workouts are harder! I am about to begin more intensive workouts this week and this post is making me wonder if I can as many are successful on higher calories. No expert but if you want to put on muscle, you need to eat more calories if you find you are still losing at maintenance. A bit of a juggling act you'll have to play with to find the right amount. Google iifym!

No I wouldn't. Have gone skinny dipping and such and enjoy but not wanting to if others are around outside of my immediate circle. Nothing against others nudity, maybe my own insecurities more like. Suppose/hoping that will change once I've lost the weight and recomp'd.

Why not google intuitive eating? There's a great book or even on audio for it. It helps you heal from food obsessions and really tune in to what your body needs, hunger cues and such.

Thanks @kittehkitteh88! I actually decided to increase from 1200 to 1400 or 1500 depending on activity that day BUT I don't eat back any of my activity calories 'earned'.
