Happy to find this post! I keep thinking of buying this program... :)

If it was me, I'd have something small...like 1/2 or 1 banana then run then have breakfast. I'm still new at running though, I just don't think I could do it on empty.

I did W4D1 yesterday. I'm not sure if all the C25K apps are the same but mine was: warm up walk 5 min, R3W2, R4W3, R4W3, R3W2, cool down walk 5 min. While I do remember running 1 minute being tough, this run was by far the hardest for me yet. My lungs were on fire and mentally I struggled against the "I can't do this". I'm…

I use this for my iphone 6+ and love it! http://www.armpocket.com/Armpocket-Products/i40/ My arms are about your size as well.

Resting is average 47. Exercies is typically 90-145

I like to see it more as a self-love/love others at any size movement, and to accept a person's right to be what they want. It's a known fact there are some "obese" people who lead extremely healthy and active lives and there are skinny people not doing so. I like the acceptance of a person's right to be who they want to -…

I've been seeing IF come up more and more... but I just find my body prefers the calories spread out over the day. I used to eat very little in the day while at work but found this caused me to almost binge eat soon as I got home before dinner, then have a big dinner and then I was still peckish in the evening. Now, I…

I eat enough throughout the day... and if hungry will firstnhave an herbal tea. Then if still, I have about a 100 calories available for a snack. If still, then I'd go to bed! ;)

Yeah I am going to put half leefy greens on my plate... 1/4 beans type dish and then some a wee bit of cheese. That's my goal anyway!! Hard until I see the options. I have an apple so will skip any sweets unless there is fruit. But yes - yolo. I will workout extra if I indulge a bit more than planned. ;)

Yeah - I already perused their online menu... they have a fresh juice/smoothie bar and dishes made with fresh organic veggies, quinoa, sprouts, nut cheeses, etc. Some gluten free options too. I'm excited to finally try it. Been open in our city maybe a year but never made it there yet.

Oh yes, I know that! But this particular restaurant is super clean and healthy... but yes you are right!

I'll be 44 this July and I am pretty sure I've just started my perimenopause. I've been 'regular' my whole life and now a period's gone by with nothing. I do find my weight isn't budging but I've been tweaking the calories and macros so as of this am, back to following MFP's suggested calorie intake - plus 40/30/30 macros.…

Thanks! I've put myself down as a quick add for each day's lunch at 300 calories. I'm just going to eyeball and pick the healthiest choices ensuring to pick a good balance of carb/protein/fat as best as I can.

I'd recommend eating the calories it has assigned you. So if it says 1300 calories - try to eat that. As for the extra calories you may earn from exercise, that's up to you. Some eat them all, some half, some do on some weeks and not on others...

Nuts! Jerky perhaps? dried fruit

I've got the charge HR and I LOVE it!!! I did a lot of research for what I wanted and read tons of reviews for them all. I know I wanted one that has a heart rate feature and I love the app I use with it on my phone and that it syncs with MFP. So happy with it! I do have my eye on the Blaze but I love gadgets and have…

Yes. I'm 100% diligent in logging...exercising too and my losses are way slower than they used to be. I'm only 40 days in and happy to have lost 10 lbs but trying to get over the slower pace from my younger years.
-
It's probably been said but if you have a smart phone - try out some of the great couch to 5k apps...they'll slowly get you increasing the amount you run/jog! But agreed, do an activity you enjoy.

How fun! Kace_Kay... you look to me a bit like Michelle Pfeiffer :)

Based on that calculation, I'm getting exactly the grams of protein I need each day. I've set my macros to 35 carbs/30 fat/35 prot. This seems to be a ratio I can reach each day. I did have mine set as 20 c/40 f/40 p once and never met it. Basically I want to hit my protein, aim for fat and not go over my carbs %'s....…

So inspiring! wtg :)

Oh ok, thanks yarwell! I'm going to give this my best shot! :)

I'm doing W1D3 later today - just enjoying breakfast a bit first and waiting for it to warm outside!

And yes, I'm sure I'm overthinking this but diet and nutrition fascinates me.

This post is great and I've starred it for daily inspiration. I actually have started the habit of sharing a quote a day on my mfp status and my friends are liking it. I base it off what I need each day... today it's this: “Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing…

I rarely get sick but if I did, I'd not worry about calories - plus my appetite goes when sick. Eat healthy, lots of fluids and listen to what your body wants. Rest. You can get back onto your plan once healthy again.

Huge girl-crush on Jamie Eason! Love her :)

I'm 5'3" also! My starting weight was 177.8 35 days ago...now at 168. My current goal weight is 140 lbs which is the start of the 'normal' bmi range. Once I get there, then I'll re-evaluate but reading here I'm pretty sure I'll then aim for about 125. Happy to see I'm among kindreds here!

I have little mini-goals but my first big one is to get to the top of the normal BMI for my height... so 140 lbs. Once there, then I will check-in and see how I'm feeling, how clothes are fitting, etc. I may decide to lose more or I might decide to hang there for awhile. As it stands for me now, this leaves me 28 lbs to go…
