Yoga will tone your body and make you feel more balanced physically and mentally. I love it and have tried all different forms of yoga. Can't get enough of it.

Csillers13. Sounds like a plan. It would be a dream come true if I can one day travel to participate in fitness events. :) I actually did my first circuit training on Saturday and it was pretty fun and challenging at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed it and is looking forward to doing it again.

Nice! I am training for a non-competitive 5k run at the end of April which is part of a yoga event. I am not a runner at all so I thought this would be a good motivator to help me start and keep running. I have been slow running/jogging about 2 miles in treadmill 5 days a week and spin twice on the days I don't run. I am a…

Congratulations Lilalief! I am doing pretty much the same thing. Eating as clean as possible and stay on all my vitamins and hit the gym at least 4 times a week hard core. Mix up all my routine with cardios and tons of strength training to build muscles. Keep us posted.

I have found meal planning really helped. During the week when I am at work it's very easy to start snacking out of boredom. Since I started to plan my meals two weeks ago I tried to include snacks(healthy stuff), and it helped tremendously. High fiber and good protein is pretty much my diet and I keep myself hydrated…

I just had a beautiful bowl of sashimi with black rice.

Squat squat squat. With weights or without. Lunges help a lot too.

I just found out about a week ago that I have been doing squats incorrectly all my life. It was form because I wasn't sitting into the hip and was putting a lot of strain on my knees and also using my quads mostly. I have been working on the proper form everyday since then and it's definitely hard to break an old habit.…

Hello everybody, I am too in very similar position and my goal is lose 30lbs but more importantly lower my BMI. I just had an assessment done over a week ago and my BMI is almost 42%. Of course prior to that I started to feel sluggish and achey all the time. Once upon a time I was fit and healthy and I miss that feeling.…
