I didn't like the way it made me feel after following it for a prolonged period and could not reasonably maintain eating paleo as a lifestyle change. But I do like sjabbers advice. I think it would be more sustainable for me.

Thank you sjabber. Yes your tips are helpful. I did not consider that I could do paleo diet days as opposed to paleo diet lifestyle.

At sunny beaches you did not miss that I was referring to your posts specifically.

As this is my first post in this community I was looking more for supportive discussion or shared experiences. Thank you for responses however some people need not reply if they are not constructive or have negative attitude.

I tried it but paleo is not for me. And yes long term adherence and realistic lifestyle changes are individual. Paleo left me feeling tired and dizzy and it did not seem healthy. So although short lived in my experience there was no reason to continue based on how it made me feel.

No. I tried it and the poster was correct and I have revised my post. I did not mean to use the word carbs. And in my reply what I was trying to say was that poster was correct. That in following a paleo diet you don't give up carbs but grains

Following paleo diet. Not giving up carbs rather I was referring to grains.
