Haha. The lager was crap but it was good cider! I like to eat more than drink though so I'm ok with it!

I was going to say this! Plus, have a water bottle handy. Every time you are thinking about heading to the fridge, drink some water instead. Also, if you really need to snack just go for raw veggies like carrots or celery, apple slices or blueberries are good too! The amount of calories in these items will be so small…

When I first got these types of comments I thought it was flattering. No one had ever called me "skinny" in my life! Now I am at goal weight and I find it extremely annoying. Just yesterday, my boss checked in with me that I'm ok and not planning to lose any more weight because "people" have been worried about me. The word…

I am having my big meal at brunch and I will go ahead and have everything. I'll try to be under for the week though!

I loved chocolate milk and anything with nutella, but you said healthy :). So I guess Mexican food, tacos and quesadillas usually!

Homemade clam chowder sprinkled with crumbled bacon and a big slice of sourdough bread. So good!

Fruit skewers are my favorite! Or pretty much anything with shrimp...

I have logged for 301 days straight. My goal when I started was to stay on this plan for at least a year to see if it could make a real difference. I lost 50 lbs and met my goal weight over a month ago. When I get to 365 days if I am still at or below my goal I will try a break from logging my food.

Cherry pie followed by raspberry and apple

I just tried my first raw oyster this summer. Other than Durian, balut eggs and rocky mountain oysters, I'm pretty adventurous and would give anything a chance once. I was a picky eater as a kid but now I love almost all food!

I have been at my maintenance weight for about a month. A week and a half ago I decided to lose 2 lbs as a preemptive strike on thanksgiving! Half a pound more now! Think I'll do the same ahead of Christmas brunch :)

Your hard boiled eggs are picture perfect! What method do you use?

In our family we have Chinese food and watch The Christmas story just with our kids on Christmas eve. Then we have the whole family over for brunch on Christmas morning that usually has a large ham, quiche, roasted potatoes, fruit salad and a bunch of pastry type items on Christmas morning.

English muffin with a fried egg, Canadian bacon and a slice of cheese if your calories will allow it, side of fresh fruit. Should be around 300 calories and is filling, fast and tasty! Oh sorry, you said no eggs... How about mini bagel with cream cheese, lox, red onion and capers.

Everyone is different, but for me, one of the keys to weight loss was taking the time to prepare and eat my meals. That being said, there are tons of portable, healthy and delicious things you could try. My favorites are cottage cheese and fruit in the little cups, hummus and pita chips, hardboiled eggs, pickles, and…

This will be my first Christmas since I started my weight loss too! I have met my goal in the last week so I'm on maintenance now. I think I will log everything, try to exercise a bit more and enjoy it! You aren't likely to gain more than a couple pounds even if you go crazy .

Haha, that's what bedtime is for at my house!

Halloween last year vs this year!

Read your post and remembered my stash.

Leftover beef broccoli and red pepper stir fry with brown rice and lots of sriracha

Lasagna and garlic bread!

Omelets, especially if you have leftovers hanging around. Great way to stretch a few leftovers into a whole new meal for 2 people and really fast to whip up. Add some toast and fresh fruit to round it out!

Brush my teeth with my kids at about 8:00 and usually don't eat anything more for the day lest I need to brush again. I don't believe that it matters how late you eat your last food but I am typically pretty close to my calorie goal by this time anyway.

I've been freezing pumpkin puree and using that in a smoothie with banana, a packet of vanilla carnation instant breakfast, a 100 calorie vanilla Greek yogurt, and some milk. I sprinkle it with pumpkin pie spice. You could sub protein powder for the carnation stuff. It makes 2 servings and is so good!

Spaghetti squash and parsnips are both mild and versatile. Try roasting a bunch of root vegetables together. Eat them as is or puree them with broth and a little milk or cream. Season to taste and you've got a wonderful soup. This could be good way to get some veggies in if you have issues with texture.

Oh my, I need to try this! Maybe throw in a little ham and cauliflower too!
-
That sounds unbelievable! Can't wait to try it!

Grilled cheese sandwich

I love beer too, my favorite is to make a nice fondue with a dark beer like porter and sharp cheddar. Dip hunks of bread, sausage and veggies in it. So delicious! If only I wasnt on a diet. May need to budget some calories for this ....
