My favorite smoothie lately is 8 oz. light almond milk, 1 T. cocoa powder, 1 T. agave nectar, 1 banana and ice. 205 calories and it tastes like ice cream! I'm in the same boat. Pre-diabetes has jolted me into action. It can (and should) be scary but you can do this. I try to think of those temptations as paths to diabetes & heart disease. Add me if you want!

Diced chicken breasts roasted with sweet potatoes, apples & onions. Yummy at under 300 calories!!
