  • YES. I very much relate- I’ll be feeling hungry and grumpy and just want to EAT and I’ll suddenly remember the time of the month. It’s like a surprise every time 🤣. @blessedwith3boys Glad you had a small success- they add up
  • Hi folks - I think I’m in a similar boat to what folks have posted above. I struggle with binging at night and and have anxiety. I too have found how triggering processed food is and am working hard to balance out my weight and cravings and relationship to food. I could use some friends - first time through MFP I accepted…
  • Glad to report I’m binge free for Friday night. Me: 2 B: 1 dbf: 2
  • Hello - I binged last night. I have been on a low carb diet and overall it’s helped tremendously with cravings and over eating. But last night let me m ow it’s not only about sugar addiction. It’s about behavior patterns and compulsions and I’m sure even more. So here I am. B=1 Me=0
  • Thank you! I had written this and was wondering where i could share it - i needed to hear from ppl in similar situations. I binged last night. Not badly - I told myself I could eat as much as I wanted as long as it was “on plan”. So instead of chips and snacks and cereal and ice cream I ate fruit and PB and SF jello and…
  • I’ve noticed the keto breath but not BO except for possibly around my cycle - assuming you are female and it’s only been 3 weeks... could that have something to do with it?
  • Cheers! Well done
  • I bet you feel very good

  • I’d make a resolution- lose 1/2 or 2/3rds of goal and then slip back. Looking back some of the “ultimate goals” could be unrealistic- now I’m back because I let totally loose for the last year - especially winter- and I refuse to buy new clothes when I know I have plenty that will fit if I lose a reasonable amount- and…
  • Mindfulness does help with keeping perspective when faced with environmental temptation or cravings
  • Well done! A big difference!
  • Wow! Congrats!
  • I track everything and subtract the fiber. If veggies are your main source of carbs you should be completely fine for your net intake. I just like to see the numbers and how I’m doing since I do get some carbs from dairy too.
  • Me too! My BF and I always have wine in the evening so I’m curious
  • I feel kind of lucky that I’ve had success in the 30-50 net carb range. I don’t feel the need to push too much lower if I’m burning fat and feeling good at that level.
  • Noom had good insights and helped me evaluate a few things but ultimately the pace was impossible to keep up with. Integrating a new insight or habit every day adds up without time to actually integrate or reflect. It became a chore and more stressful than it was worth. A personalized pace would benefit it tremendously.

  • Hi everyone! I was deep inside for grid for a while hiking the John Muir Trail - got some serious miles in but even more perspective oh what a job it would actually be if all these miles to Mordor were mountainous and wilderness- those are some stout hearted hobbits
  • I'm finally learning that I am a stress eater. This week has been a long binge. I restarted work after summer (I'm a teacher) and returned to missing documents, a hostile principal, a dead car battery, broken shoes...the list goes on. I first turned to alcohol to relax with ALWAYS leads to over eating. I kept thinking each…
  • It’s ok- your patterns are changing. Your brain/body are used to getting munchies at that time of day/during that activity. It will take time for your brain/body to adjust. Temptation is not failure- and failure is not permanent.
  • Still marching over here, even if I haven’t posted in a while- Sam spotted Gollum!
  • Hi folks! I’m 20 miles from the fields of celebor!
  • Happy trails everyone! Keep clocking those miles!
  • I am a few weeks into it now. I had lost almost 20 focusing only on CICO. However, I am also an occasional Binger. Every two weeks or so I would pound a burrito, beers, cookies, granola bars, etc. The biggest thing keto has done for me is left me full and satiated and with even energy. I’ve never been tempted to binge and…
  • 32 miles this week - still marching toward “2 days after lothlorien”
  • Sorry I’ve been absentee - life has gotten busy - but I’m still walking and now made it past Lothlorien!
  • 46 to Caras Galadan!
  • 12 miles to the bridge of Khazad Dum. Shall I pass?
  • And hi everyone! 14 to the Gates of Moria. Things are getting serious
  • Congratulations! Cheers!
