i did a low carb diet for several months and didn't go over 14g/carbs/day. it wasn't that difficult to me.
-
i use it with baking and stir fry. i love the flavor and the way it melts into foods, not greasy like other oils.

body shape of my partner.....i have been with my partner since he was 20. he is VERY muscular now and weighs about 60 pounds more than he did when we met (muscle, some fat) (keeping in mind, we are 44 now...) i prefer him the way he is now. has more "meat on his bones" muscular and very broad shoulders. can pick me up. yum…

i ALWAYS shop hungry; otherwise i come home and say "What did i buy???"

getting married should be about the marriage, not about the wedding; at least, not ALL about the wedding. i know the wedding day is important, but so many people focus on that day, and don't take much time to consider the rest of their life together. focus on healthy eating and get into a healthy lifestyle that you and…

just because you slip and have 1 bad meal, doesn't mean you have to ruin the whole day. just because you slip and have 1 bad day, doesn't mean you have to ruin the whole week. just because you slip and have 1 bad week, doesn't mean you have to ruin the whole month.

i don't think the camera adds 10 lbs. when i saw myself in a photo, i was upset b/c i thought i looked really much bigger than i thought i looked. i asked my husband "do i look like this photo?" and he said yes. he didn't think the photo made me look bigger. i think that is a myth.

this doesn't have anything to do with snacking at night, but i like to write notes to myself on the bathroom mirror. i will put notes in bright colors and say thing like YOU ARE STRONG or KEEP GOING! just little inspirations for myself.

tonight i cut chicken breasts into tiny chunks. i saute'd them over med. heat in olive oil with a bit of onion and garlic. then i steamed some broccoli and added the cooked broccoli. then i added a little teriyaki sauce over the top. dinner done!

i had horrible insomnia growing-up. i have only in the past year been able to defeat it. i take all my meds at night + melatonin. it helps me sleep all night long.

i noticed that i couldn't bend over and tie my shoes b/c my belly was getting in the way! THAT was SAD and MOTIVATING! i'm SERIOUS this time!

my husband has been doing it for about a month.

my husband did this diet - chicken rice and broccoli only. he ended up with gallstones and had to have his gallbladder removed. not smart.

i was down to my goal weight for about a year. i had an old pair of shorts size 14 that i used to wear and i kept them so i could remember how big i used to be. i got pregnant and gained weight, then went through some difficult times. all i could wear were those big shorts. that's when i knew i had to do something to get…

i am a SAHM and i actually find that i do better at home. if i am out, i eat worse. if i'm home, i have so much more control. the key is like kalikel said, only buy the good stuff. if i buy donuts, i will eat them. yesterday i bought tons of berries and grapes and some fresh sourdough bread and yogurt. when i reach for a…

i got on seroquel and w/o changing my diet gained immediately. i'm now in the range of needing to lose over 40 lbs. i am working really hard and have to eat under 1200 cal/day to lose. if i eat more than that, i gain it back. it's horrible having to take meds and try to lose. my brother gave me his professional grade…

Good or bad for you: drinking 5 liters of water a day (GOOD) exercising before bed (GOOD) swimming with only flippers on (GOOD, especially for those around you who get to see you naked) having dry skin after swimming (oK, just chlorine, get lotion) red spots on arms after exercise (oK, just sweat) burning more calories…

that is why i was wondering if she told dr EVERYTHING? does dr know about weight loss surgery? does dr know that she can't comfortably eat more than 1000 cal/day? giving the dr information is more than half the battle in finding a good dr.

^^ this ^^ unless you are using them for extra protein after working-out, etc....which i just noticed in your OP that you said specifically for losing weight.
-
newer research doesn't necessarily equal better. my last OB was over 70 years old and had been delivering babies since he was in his 20's. he even used a fetascope instead of a modern electronic version to listen to baby's heartbeat. just because something is new doesn't mean it is better. and if the OP goes into the dr's…

i haven't heard of that one. i used to drink pure protein when i was a weight lifter. i would have one after working-out instead of lunch. they were very filling, high protein and low sugar/carbs.
