i made my own smoothie this morning with ingredients i had on hand, pineapple, raspberries, orange juice, even adding 1/2 cup of ice cream to make it smooth. it was only 300 calories, and kept me very satisfied until lunch. personally i would stop the slim fast, and make your own shakes.

i used to take NOS powder before working-out (with weights) and it helped alot. took JACK3D years ago, but heard it was very dangerous for the heart, so i stopped.

i take cider vinegar capsules to help lower my cholesterol, but i don't like the flavor which is why i take the capsules and not add it directly to my drink.

i wanted to start juicing (that is, blending veggies & fruit whole, so i get the fiber, too) but my husband is not wanting to spend the money on the "good" juicer just yet. he is having me drink smoothie king every day for 2 weeks and if i'm still "into it" he'll buy my vitamix! so far, i've had one every day for a week!

yes that can be true for alot of people. i try not to mention it to new parents, but all of my children slept through the night starting at 6 weeks and never looked back. i am so lucky i didn't have a lack of sleep issue :smile:

i gained weight when pregnant, but lost it all after all my births. the only reason i am overweight right now is because of meds i started taking for BPD. honestly i don't think it has anything to do with my children at all, seeing as how i was at my perfect (low) weight before starting said drugs.

seroquel is not to be taken during the day. it is to be taken about 3 hours before bedtime. of course you can get used to it, like i did, and now 400 mg doesn't even make me drowsy anymore.

i went to my dr and found out my testosterone level was 7. i did a couple of weeks of testosterone therapy and gained weight so i stopped.

have you ever tried garbanzo bean chocolate cake? it's GF & so delicious! would never know it wasn't flour.

my husband's birthday was yesterday and i grilled steaks and made zucchini. then we had garbanzo bean chocolate cake for dessert. it was a treat, but i was able to stay within calorie goal.

i think it took me about a week. but i was faced with incredibly high cholesterol and my dietary needs HAD to change, so it was easier to agree to the restrictions since my health was on the line.
