I can't believe no one has mentioned PB2 (powdered peanut butter). You can add the powder to a protein drink, or mix it with water to make a paste. All the PB flavor, far less fat. I mix it with yogurt and add some mini chocolate chips to it; it's almost like a peanut butter pie. They also have a chocolate PB2 that I…

My daughter is 6 years old, and I don't discuss it with her or in front of her. She knows that I exercise and we talk about eating healthy food (along with my 7-year-old son), but I always put it in a way that shows I want to be healthy even though I want to lose weight as well. That is all true. On the other hand, sugar will spike your blood glucose…

It sounds like you're still obsessing about the number on the scale even though you only check in once per week. Fluctuations in weight isn't a bad thing - it's a normal thing, so don't ignore it. Logging food, weight, and exercise is crucial to building awareness. I'd log the gain, then look back at your food diary to see…

I agree 100%. These labels add an emotional dimension to food, when we need to start looking at food more objectively. Yes, certain foods will release feel-good hormones, but we shouldn't feel guilty for enjoying something. Moderation is the key...something that everyone's probably sick of hearing.
