  • I am out of commission for a week. My ankle is swollen bad. Going to rest it for a week and hopefully it will help. I'll do what I can for the rest of the month, but not sure if I'll make the 100 mark. I'll make a mark, just not sure how many miles. All good, as there is always next month to hit the 100 mile mark.

  • Thanks ladies, this has been quite helpful. BTW. I'm 54, Height 5'4' and 176 I've gotten 1400 - 1800 one calculator....One told me to eat 2000 calories, one was at 1600 - 2000. Thus causing all this confusion. I do think I will invest in a good heart rate monitor as those on the gym equipment is never accurate either.

  • My trainer says to not just look at the scale. Measure yourself, and track that too. Sometimes you lose inches instead of weight.

  • I don't weight to the gram, or weigh all the time, but I do record all my meals, every single bit of them. To make up for not weighing, I always overestimate.
