Thanks. Good to hear.

OK. Trying again. Just back from holiday and asking about the likelihood of a 10 hour flight contributing to apparent weight gain.

I give up. I keep losing my posts.

Clean your teeth, close your diary and find something to do.

I am on holiday and am positively seeking out photo opportunities, whereas I used to hide. The fat woman doesn't live here any more ☺

Lost the end of that! I had those things because they were new to me. I am avoiding the things I can have as easily at home.

I am in Canada, on holiday fromthe UK. Yesterday I had poutine and green apple gelato (

Yes. My son said It was the worst film he has ever seen ... oh, you mean the seats...

Probably UK only, but Trewithen Dairy natural yoghurt is delicious. I've just had 100g with 40g red grapes and it felt luxurious :)

We on MFP are a more educated audience than most, so maybe things which didn't surprise you, lizzynose, are not generally known. I didn't find her negative about clean eating - she gave it a thorough go - but negative about excess. She checked with real scientists and actual dieticians, and her interviewing of the alkaline…

You sound like a hoopy frood who really knows where her towel is.

It works for me; I am eating out with friends tonight. just on today's calories, I will be over, but taken in the context of the week, I will be fine - I have been saving up :)

I use Simply Walking. It is quite basic but serves my needs. I don't know how "true" it is, but it is consistent with itself, so provides a solid base for my judgements.

"Sorry I'm from the UK, we use ml here. Never used a fl oz in my life" Sophie Small95, I am guessing you are 20 or 21 (based on 95) When you are as old as I am, (52) fl oz is what you were brought up on, even in the UK :)

Well done, stardust_1992. Just keep going. When I started this in March 2015 I weighed 95k and was UK 16/18 with a bmi in the obese range. Now I weigh 68 k, my bmi is bang in the middle of the green zone and I am currently wearing today's purchase of size 10 shorts; I never thought THAT would happen! Stick with it. You…

Thinking about it - got to think about something whilst on the elliptical, in the absence of lessons to plan - this weight can't ALL be fat; I haven't been eating like that! So whilst I have altered my activity setting and will tighten up on everything, I'm not going to worry - yet! I am still below my original target…

I keep considering lifting, but I don't think I am sufficientl hard core / commited; my shape is fine for my usual needs and this is England - flesh flashing weather is rare.
-
If only it were possible to target where the fat goes from - but it isn't. The hot weather is showing me that I could stand to lose a bit more tummy, but experience has shown that any further loss will hit my boobs. I will sacrifice tummy flatness for boobage.

I seem to have acquired 1.5k which I can't really account for, so I am taking all this good advice for myself.

Well done, Jodie. I, too, am down from UK size 16/18 (closer to 18) to 10/12 (more often 10 these days). Buying some crops last week I took the 10 and the 12 into the changing room, convinced that the tiny 10 wouldn't cover even one leg. So, I bought the 10 which fits comfortably; my brain hasn't caught up with my body.…

I hate this "good boyfriend / girlfriend" stuff. It doesn't sound like people treating other people as people. Maybe I am just old.

CICO is the same post documentary marathon as it as before. You still have the same purchasing power. Forget other people, just do you.

This is where I was a few months ago. It takes a while, but you learn to hold the balance and enjoy the leeway. Congratulations.
