Pilates is awesome. Engages the core muscles and will strengthen and tighten them. Also, genetics does have a say, many women simply hold a little fat around their tummy . If it's that and just a little bit, there are injectibles and lasers that will get rid of it. Best of luck

5'4" and my goal is 140-145. This actually puts me in a size 6. (Not vanity sizing) I think the most important thing is that you are healthy and fit. Whatever that number may be. Better to be at a slightly higher number with muscle tone than a lower one and just be skinny.
