Hey everyone, Starting back after losing my way the past couple of months. I lost 11 lbs February and I am sure I gained it back and then some. I am not weighing this time. I feel that if I lose I reward myself with food or if I gain I drown myself in food. I have not gained control of that behavior yet so best to put the…

Had a terrible 2 1/2 weeks. I am back to my bad eating habits. I refuse to get on the scale. I am afraid I have gained back the 9lbs that I lost. I need to refocus and get back on track.

Try calling the company. They should be very helpful.

Had a slice of pizza for lunch three days in a row. I am counting this as 300 calories. I hope that is correct. If not, I will see it in the scale Monday. Hehe. Hope everyone is having a good week.

I use Pedometer++ on my iPhone. It was free and you don't need to keep it open to track steps. It has been a great motivator in keeping me moving.

Up 3/4 of a lb this week. Not giving up. One meal at a time. How has everyone's week start off?

I have severe arthritis in my left knee. I just finished gel injections that did not work so I am more determined than ever to lose this weight. I am hoping that 80lbs off my joints will take the pain away. Anyone have experience with decreased pain after losing a lot?

So true. A coworker offered me a coconut cookie the other day and I flat out said no. It felt empowering.

I blew it today (first time in two weeks) so I have stopped counting my calories. I feel like one day is not going to hurt me. I hope. Hehe.

@Hippychick5983 I like skinnyms.com for recipes.

Way to go. Do you mind me asking what you are doing to lose?
-
Welcome @zena_marie. Try to plan ahead as much as possible. I always plan to the night before what I am going to eat and that seems to help.

Way back when I only needed to lose 20lbs I would have felt this 9.5 lb lose. Now that I have to lose 75lb this 9.5 lb lose is not visible and I still feel like a stuffed sausage.

Do you ever have a good day eating and stay within calories but feel bloated? This was me yesterday. I hope that feeling goes away today.
-
@jonesm97 I never thought I would fall in love with baby spinach. It is delicious. I eat it uncooked with some grilled chicken.

Thanks @2run2ski and @prof_newme. I must admit that I was not hurt but more shocked. Come on. He was telling me something I already knew. I wonder what his downfall is? But then again who cares. This is about us and our journey. Keep going ladies. The week is almost over.

Dig deep inside and find that trigger to say enough. For me it is the closet full of summer clothes that doesn't fit or the stranger that I accidentally bumped and he turns around and calls me a "fat pig". Find your trigger and hold onto it and keep going.

Katie, I signed up for MFP a a year ago but never started using it until last week. I was lighter last year but lost last week so my weight lose is showing as 0. You can edit your current weight and it should show correctly on your "progress" graph. Where is it not showing properly?

Welcome Katie. I admire your determination to get on track. I feel that no matter how much we all have to lose or whether we have had surgery or not, we all suffer from the same emotional addiction to food. Today I felt hungry but feel that I controlled my mind enough to not lose track of the day. Small victories and one…

Feel better Caroline.

That sounds good. Do you finely chop the spinach and add to the meatballs?

5612 steps today. Not the 6000 I was hoping for but close enough. Eating was good. How did everyone do today?
-
Down 6lbs this morning. I am very happy with my first week. Thanks all for your support. My goal for this week is to aim for 6,000 steps each day.

Wow! This is such a great thread. I have spent the day reading each and every post here. Your motivation and successes is very encouraging. Thanks @shirayne for starting us off. I have about 80lbs to lose. I gained 50 of the 80 lbs in the past five years when I had some life changes. I am tired of using that as an excuse…

Newmeadow, I feel the same way. How can it be? It is huge and delicious.

Today feels like this for me. I am keeping busy by reading all these posts

I agree. I just like picking up a hot slice once in a while so I don't have a whole pizza in the house. The crust is very thin.

The last straw for me was realizing that I had gained 20 lbs since starting a new job the end of October. That now puts me nearly 80lbs overweight.
