I have alot of medical problems for one had a total knee replacement last June and I need to get my weight down it's not good on the new knee... I personally don't want to be over weight it makes me feel tired and depressed, just not happy with it. So my plan is to lose 77 pounds and I will be happy!

I'm 5"10 and my calorie intake is set at 1,700 , I've been eating average 1,400 per/ day and have lost 6 pounds in a week. You need to up your calories or your body will go into starvation mode and will store everything you consume into fat..."survival mode".

Society is fast paced and not everyone has the same taste in food. Me, I eat a variety homemade ,restaurant ,fast food. My fitness pal is very accommodating to all different lifestyles. I absolutely love this app and have met a lot of awesome people on here!

Another thing you might want to try is having your vitamin D level checked to see if you are deficient, that can also really put a big damper on weight loss. I was deficient in vitamin D and take vitamin D3 daily now and I have managed to lose around 10 pounds.

I know this might sound odd but I will watch an episode of my 600 pound life! That really gets to me and then I have no more desire for that food.

42 years old and I was having a very hard time losing weight went to the doctors they checked my vitamin D level come to find out I was deficient! Now that I take vitamin D supplement to bring up my D level I've been losing weight you should all have your vitamin D level checked.

My opinion you shouldn't eat back any calories that you get from exercising because then it's defeating the purpose.
