Lean ground beef is pricy but my fella hates turkey. So I will either mix them half and half, actually kneeding them together. Or save turkey for things that require sauce or high seasoning like tacos. In a pinch cook it in with a little water and a low sodium beef bullion.

I feel you. I was in a preserve in Michigan and had a garter snake slitter across my shoe. The logical part of my mind knew it wouldn't hurt me. That is not however the part of my mind that controls screaming like a *kitten* and running like a serial killer was after me.

When working out I tell myself well just finish these five minutes so it Is a round number, then when I get there it is oh just finish these x reps or the quarter mile, and when that is done I convince myself to finish rounding the time. It shouldnt work. I know I am tricking me. But damned if it doesn't work.
