My night shift job is an outside gig. My go to is hot tea with tiny splash of cream. Most of my "hungry" at work is really cold, tired, thirsty. So hot, caffeinated and beverage kills the fake hunger

I have yet to try prescription goggles as my eyes are two different prescriptions and I have a severe astigmatism. I have cheap zenni glasses and swim in them. I do breast with face above and switch it with backstroke and freestyle moving my head left to right to keep above water. It alleviates the neck strain to switch it…

While my struggles aren't the same as yours, I am also back after regaining a previous big loss. We did it before and can do it again! You have the tools you need, just have to get back into healthier habits. You got this. Feel free to add me if you like.

Completely spaced on posting about Friday's (March 27th) weigh in. Almost forgot to weigh in at all. Being off work sick had my days all skewed up. I weighed in at 262.8. Which is a 3lb lose for me. Was glad for it but only get partial credit as was sick for part of the week. Though I am proud of the dog walks once I was…

You should be! Way to stick with it despite crazy times.

I weighed in at 265.8 yesterday. Trying to be happy about saying that out loud instead of still cringing. That as a 1.2lb lose for me this week. So 18.2 from my starting weight at the doctor's office beginning of the month. It wasn't the best of weeks for food and exercise. Last weekend I needed a day off thinking about…

It does sound good. Sending a request.

You are definently not alone. I am another 200 plus trying to lose the weight for health. I need to lose in order to have hip surgery. I am battling the pain from that along with another pelvic joint disfunction, an autoimmune/thyroid condition, chronic migraine, severe anxiety and fatigue issues. I am at day ten and…

Where are we at? Most likely digging in our bag for an advil, because god damnit when did everything decide to crack and pop like a glowstick without the glow 😂

IF SOCKS ARE PRISONS THOSE ARE LIKE TOURTURE CAMPS FOR TOES.

SOCKS ARE EVIL FEET PRISONS

If there is a bright center to the Universe my progress is on the plant farthest from it 😂. Adding you.

Friending you. I am also back here after time away. It really does work if I can keep at it. Trying to concur the mental dragons of my own that are along the physical health path. Be glad to have another mfp buddy.

Admirable goals as a whole but this ☝️ seriously, I am with you. I recommend C25K app for slow motion jogging. My neighborhood kids approve and find much amusement with my spectical of slower than walk speed "running".

I have had same health setbacks of late that leave me very frustrated. I miss the high I get from jogging, but pain and fatigue are kicking my butt. Just walking a small distance feels like I climbed a mountain. I am trying to change that by each day doing just that one step more than I did before. Old story, I dont…

Also facing a daily spoon deficit. Trying to get back in the swing if things with a daily uphill battle. Add me if you like.

I have hashimoto's as well, I also understand how much weight gain can effect/play into emotional well being. I am sorry you have been struggling and hope this first step into a better self. I am on a similar journey. Add me if you'd like

You have nothing to fear from being on here with hashimoto's, other than finding your thyroid is only part of the problem. I struggle with my weight and my thyroid levels. BUT when I am strictly logging on here and being accountable it is so much better than when I am not. Logging food and activity will not speed up…

It is hard to find that groove again when health knocks you off your feet. Today is my day one...again. Feel free to add me.

In a similar spot. Life happened and knocked down year plus of work. So today is day one...again. Feel free to add me.

Natural Pantheist, feel free to add me.

You seem to be on the right track. Wanting a change and making the choice to stick with mfp to log food and increase activity are really the key. Good luck and feel free to add me if you like.

Cheaters cheat because they are cheaters. They tell you it is because you are too thin , or fat, or prudish, or old, or emotionally unavailable, or tall, or short or whatever they know you are insecure about because they know that you hate that about yourself and will allow them to shift blame to you for their choices. If…

Yes! Walking or biking have always been my best choice. I was doing c25k before my physical therapist said no because of my s.i joint issues. Any weight lifting using my arms or shoulders can trigger a migraine, anything with too much inversion or bending like aerobic videos or some yoga poses are a no fly. Oddly I was…

Third shift is just another hurdle. The biggest thing I found when I went to third shift is really learning the difference between tired and hungry. I work 11p to 8 a. My lunch is supposed to be at 3 am. I found I do better eating it at an earlier break and then not eating at all for the last 7 or so hours I am awake. It…

Think of it like a budget. Right now you are trying to get out of debt by spending under your daily budget. So one day going over budget will add to your debt. However it doesn't take away from the over all budget plans you made for your self or that plans ability to bring you long term success. Days you spend will happen,…

Yes. If toasted. While I don't outright ban foods from my diet, I don't eat toast or breakfast cereal on a regular basis. They trigger what I call "shark brain" and I want to eat the whole loaf/box. I treat them like a special dessert item that I know is high calorie, know is addictive for me and know I can only have one.…
