For muscular pain like this, all we are gonna tell you is ice, rest and NSAIDs if you visit the Dr. If you are still having pain in a week or so after really taking care of it, then maybe more would be warranted.

Strong work. If people would only realize just how much good they can do for themselves with a little hard work and tenacity. As a nurse I see so many people my age and even younger with multiple "chronic" conditions that can be alleviated by just taking care of themselves, it is a bit disheartening.

I go to a regular gym 5 mornings a week to lift weights and on my nights off I go to a crossfit box and do the WOD. Usually make crossfit 3-4 times a week.

I started about a month ago and I love it.

I schedule the time. I work over night 12 hour shifts so I stop on my way home and work out at the gym in the morning. On my days off, I work out a second time in the evenings. I miss a day here and there due to life, but after doing it for a bit, it has become a part of my schedule just like everything else.

New PR on my deadlift tonight!

I am using Jack3d watermelon right now. Has NO2 and creatine included and no jittery feeling.

I was pretty chunky when my GF and I met, still amazed she went out with me actually! She started working out first when she hit 40, just wanted to tone up and lose the extra baggage of 3 kids, though I didn't think she needed to change anything. I saw just how hard she was working and started to see the change in not only…

1Gm of protein for every pound of body mass.

@4thdegree-that's how I feel every day right before the gym!!

once, but it only lasted about a month and she was back. Our 3 year anniversary is in May!

There are a lot of preworkout supplements out there that will give you the energy of an energy drink, but with more added benefits if you are also working out. The good ones won't just perk you up, they will provide you with creatine and nitric oxide to help improve performance and make it easier to build muscle among…

I used to go to Zumba with my GF, but decided she needs her own time to get sweaty without me there. Now I do Crossfit instead and knowing that the other is getting ready to head to the gym keeps us both off the couch!

I use Optimum Nutrition. 24Gm per serving. I have tried the strawberry and double rich chocolate so far, and both taste great. They are whey based for quick after workout protein and micronized so they mix super easy in a mixing bottle with no chunks.

I am looking for people to compare my stats with and to hold me accountable for logging in regularly. If you want to be one of those people, please add me!!!

I like to listen to thrash/death metal myself. The aggressiveness keeps me pushing. Have to wear earbuds though as my gym doesn't allow that type of music!

It sucks! LOL To be honest, anyone that can do basic movements can do Crossfit. I am far from in the best shape myself, but I plug away every day. Everyone there started out of shape. Most places will require you to take a series of training classes for beginners before you start with the main group. That is a great place…

Sure, I am pretty new myself! Feel free to add me.

Mine is also.

I find that exercise curbs my appetite. After my Crossfit in the evening, I pretty much have to force myself to eat anything.

I am looking to lose around 50 lbs myself. Have been doing it through weight training and started Crossfit a weeks ago, now to conquer the diet! Anyone is free to add me.

Newish to this app and looking for friends like everyone else here! I am a night shift RN with terrible eating habits:) I lift weights in the mornings after work 5 days a week and do crossfit in the evenings on my days off. I am trying to get down to 220 from approx. 250. Pretty darn motivated, just looking for that extra…
