Be able to jog for more than 10 seconds without wanting to collapse and die from lack of oxygen; even though I already go at the pace of a terminally exhausted snail crawling through a vat of peanut butter, and if I went any slower I'd be going backwards.

Signed up for a 12km walk in mid September, and started planning my training to get me through the next 146 days until "race" day.

Well, I'm back again. Last time was a big fat failure. Now my brain really wants to do it, before I get to the point that I can't even walk around after my daughter, let alone run. Hopefully it sticks this time.

Walk done. 1.71km in 22 minutes and 11 seconds - hardly breaking the land-speed record, but hey, I have to start somewhere.

I'm not keen on the taste of plain Greek yoghurt either. I try to add strawberries, raspberries, or granola to mine, and it makes it a bit more palatable.

Have previously played basketball, and netball (even though I'm only 5 foot 3) - not since high school though. Would love to get back into something when I get to the point that even walking to the mail box or tying up my shoes doesn't leave me out of breath.

I had KFC for lunch (popcorn chicken and chips - a lot less than I'd usually have). Back on the wagon for the next meal.
