But every single animal in your country can kill you. Everything. If it flys, crawls, swims or walks it will probably be able to kill you. I love the country though :)

Just finishing a protein shake and then I'm tucking in to a nice Jam doughnut. Still a bit short on fat target for the day and have some calories to sapre, but pretty close to my macros from MFP.

my 4 year old daughter mentioning my moobs.....

Think of it like this, you are 20 years old. If you live until you are 90, that is 25550 days. 1 day really isn't the end of the world. log it, move on.

Long runs outside nature takes care of my motivation, I just take in the scenery and enjoy it. Long runs in the gym are probably the hardest thing. 2 hours on the treadmill and not even the best music around is enough. I don't think I have or could manage more than 2 hours on a treadmill.

This is very much the question I have been trying to work out for myself at the moment. Had a search around on the forums and still haven't come up with a good answer. I'm trying to work out when to move from weight loss to maintenance and a body recomp. I really hadn't thought of doing the maths on my target body fat and…

You have the weight lose goals set to aggressively. If you have it set to 2lbs a week, its probably to much. Reset your goals to something which is sustainable over the long term, 1lb or 0.5lbs. That should give you room to eat more and hopefully avoid the feeling that you need to eat everything while still allowing you to…

MFP has a recipe builder, so you can create all your meals and then quickly add them. It may take some time to do this to start with but once it's done it is done. It now has the added function of being able to be pointed to a website and automatically pick up the ingredients. At the end of the day, you are not losing…

How do you know you are eating less than 1500 calories a day if you aren't logging? You need to get back to the basics of weight loss. Start logging your food again.

So, looking at the details from the site linked and then checking back in MFP, there is a slight offset by that research having an extra level of activity If we were to try and link to the options given on this site, what do people think about the following. Sedentary: Spend most of the day sitting (e.g. bank teller, desk…

Stef, thanks for that. I had found something similar but it was just on a random website. Had no information linked as to where the numbers had come from. I think information like that is such a better starting place for people using this site. Quantifiable information is 100% more useful than any of the generic groupings.…

See a doctor if this is a regular thing. If it's just a one off, water not doing it for you, try something flavoured

There was a recent show on TV over in the UK, which had 2 twins, both who were doctors and they looked at how drinking effects the body. They focused not on how much but how it's drunk. They took the daily "recommended" amount, 2 units a day. 1 drank 2 units per day and the other drank all his units in 1 day, so 21 units…

@OP. Are you having all your cereals, protein powders etc with water? For instance just today you have logged special K for breakfast, but nothing with it. In fact I have just gone back a few days on your diary and there are no drinks at all logged. In regards as to what to eat back and not eat back, in essence Skwytt is…

Thank you all for the replys. I see how both Tufel and gdyment are correct in this. I'm just going to stick with my body weight stuff to help on my core and not worry strength training until after this run. Gdyment, just to clarify what you mean about the 500/800 deficit, that is at the end of a week, after eating back…

You should go for a jog to calm that blood pressure :)

Okay, to start with he is NOT a doctor. Go and see an actual medical professional. Not someone quack who has zero actual medical knowledge. Second thing to do is ignore everything that he told you, again he isn't an actual medical professional. thirdly, make sure you are still ignoring everything that quack has said and…

Cheers for the flag on my post. Please explain why that is abuse? Her "friends" are making her feel bad because of the pressure for her to conform to their views on what someone should or shouldn't be like. They are actively telling her to stop, that is not something friends do. I'll agree with Chrysalid on how to phrase…

Tell your friends to stop being dicks. If they are actually friends they will realise that they aren't being helpful and should stop trying to pressure you in to eating/drinking things you don't want to. If they persist at the pressure, then they aren't real friends and you can probably avoid going out with those who carry…

What CoachJen said, lots of posts all at the same time, not a mass of "your doing it wrong". Also, there really isn't a doing it wrong. There is starting to do it, learning how to do it a bit better and then continually learning how to improve on what you were doing before. Being 100% honest, you are losing weight and you…

If you are going to ask for help and advice, the first thing you will need to do is open up your diary. Then people can see what you have or haven't been logging. If you aren't losing weight then it probably down to the simple fact that you are eating more than you think you are. Also 0.5lbs per week, which would be 4 lbs…

This is more fun, it's not like these posts are keeping it up on the front page where it should probably be a sticky or something like that, giving people advice on stuff that keeps on getting asked on the forums.

pfft, no chance, this thread is 7 pages long. I read the title and just posted.

I'm in for this this month. 150 miles is my target

So which detox is best for losing say 15lbs in a couple of weeks?
