It's also linked to lack of exercise in the same kids whose parents don't teach them about proper nutrition and eating habits. If you don't care about nutrition and good eating habits, then there is probably a good chance you don't care about fitness and exercise.

My daughter doesn't really like dessert. Doesn't like cakes, doesn't like ice cream. But she will eat as much carrot as she can get her hands on, loves all salad. Likes chocolate, but doesn't like chocolate sauce. Kids are strange.

On a bit of a tangent about this, but why is socially acceptable for people to comment on your weight loss but highly offensive to comment on someone's weight gain. No one bats an eye lid when a co-worker or the like mentions that you have lost weight, or that your going to disappear if you lose more, but can you imagine…

Shouldn't you be adding weight to your lifts to be progressing in SL?
-
Going along with the comments above. I'm guessing that you only drink water, because there are no liquids in your diary. Your chicken is grilled with nothing added to it? Monday 2/11 for example. For lunch you had a dry sweet potato? Nothing on that at all?

Is there a time cut of that you are really worried about? Get out for a long run this Saturday, if you normally listen to music while running, run a song, walk a song. That normally gives you a nice mix of long runs and short runs and long walks and short walks. Make sure you put your music on random so you never know…

I have also gone with the grow a beard option. :)

I got to the same point. I was starting to look gaunt but still have quite a high BF%, I've realised that I just don't currently have the muscle to keep dropping weight. I may get down to 15% BF, but I think the other 85% will mostly be my skeleton and organs. I have decided to just stick at where I am for a bit, go in to…

1lb a week is very good weight loss. In fact, that is almost perfect. It is a good steady loss and with going to the gym you are probably minimising lean body mass loss. You didn't put all of your weight on over a very short period of time, so don't expect it to all come off in a really short period of time. You diary is…

Best thing to remember is that you didn't go to bed one day and wake up the next having put on 30lbs/50lbs/100lbs It took years to get to the point where you decided it was time to lose weight, so having a day where you don't stick to your new healthier life style doesn't ruin anything. It's just another day. You move on…

Just limit your run to 1 hour and see if you can increase your pace a little each time. See if you can do 8.7 in an hour next time and then 8.8 etc.
-
Take a day of rest between each run. That gives your body enough time to rest and repair for the next run. Running 3 consecutive days will just increase your chance of injury.

This is what I'm trying to work out now. I have finally just gone under my initial target weight. But my BF% is still quite high I think, probably around 18% ish. But I think that my main issue now is actually the lack of overall muscle. I think I'm getting to the point where I'm looking scrawny, I think it's probably time…

I don't think I would go all out on just one thing. I have got use to eating smaller portions of food now. So I would probably have lots and lots of different things.

Start by making realistic goals. You didn't put the weight on over night, so it would go over night. So go on the basis of losing 0.5lbs a week, 35 weeks to lose the 70lbs . Once you have the logging accurately down and are consistent in doing it and know you can hit the goals for 0.5lbs a week, you can think about…

If you don't hit your calories and macros one day, make up for it the next. Try to make sure that your weekly totals are about correct.

Tarka dal with rice, Banana and an apple.
-
How much are you putting as your target weekly weight loss? Trying starting out with the lowest amount, 0.5lbs a week. If you are trying to reduce your calories to much it might just be to aggressive a loss for you to maintain.

The meds may change CO part of CICO but they can never make you GAIN weight. To gain weight you need CI > CO. Unless your meds are wrapped in bacon and dipped in cheese they are not going to suddenly make your CI number increase. If you eat 1500 calories and take meds that 1500 in doesn't change to 1600 or 1700. They may…

Why are you losing weight? That reason has to trump all other things. Get things near you which remind you why you are doing this. I realised I had to get in shape when chasing after my baby daughter made it out of breath. I intend to be here for her for as long as possible and I can only do that if I'm as healthy as I can…

Welcome man. Well done on the first step, now it's all about keeping it up. What do you mean when you say "stick to whole foods". One of the best things about MFP and really understanding how this all works, is that you really can eat what you like. You just have to eat it in reasonable amounts and make it work within your…

Buy yourself a HRM for your steady state cardio. It's the only way you can know your calorie burn.
-
The only bad part of that day is that you gave away your starter and dessert. Are you going to be going to weddings 7 days a week, 365 days a year? I'm going to guess the answer to that is no, so eat in line with your weight loss targets and then when you do have a special occasion, enjoy it.
-
Stop worrying about the macros. Just concentrate on counting your calories and having a balanced diet. The macros (fat/protein/carbs) will generally sort themselves out fine.
-
What you lost was mostly water weight, you body will now start to level out and and replace / hold water to work on repairing itself from the increased exercise. Which means the scales may well go up as well as down. You shouldn't also be "well below" your 1200 calorie limit. You need to fuel your body for your exercise…

How long have you been training?

Thank you all for the responses. I blitz the whole thing in a food processor to start with and then use an electronic hand mixer afterwards. I'm going to get my hands on some gum and add that. I will get fluff!

This was done on a TV show. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-32798569 Twins, 1 of them drank the "recommended" number of units a day, the other drank the whole weeks "recommended" number of units in 1 night. The blood work etc at the end showed that both livers were almost at the same state. So yeah, it doesn't matter if…

So a cup is 236ml, I have tried the fluff with 200ml and 100ml, but I haven't used xanthan gum. Is the gum required for this to work? Each time it has just got like a very light milkshake, as no point has it actually got to a state which I would need a spoon to eat. I use the following protein powder…

See I'm not sure about this, I once drank a couple of bottles of red wine and I could hardly walk. I reckon I would have killed myself in the gym :)
