Lol I've seen a (fit) girl tell an unfit girl that she should let ppl that are actually going to put the treadmill to good use use it. (Unfit girl was walking and I guess the other girl wanted to run. This was an apartment gym with two treadmills) so i believe op story. There is plenty of rude ppl in this world.

I bought some $20 jbl sport earbuds and those work great, I prefer to use them over the powerbeats wireless earbuds I have. Very durable too I even washed them accidentally and they still work.

Personal experience the soreness goes away once I work it out again, but if you can't then you can't. Everyone's body is different ,it is possible to loose 40 in 16 wks just make sure your eating enough, regardless if you only loose 10-20-30 lbs in 16 wks I doubt you'll be disappointed at that. It'll just make you want to keep going. :)

Another tip that helped me I hardly weigh myself, I noticed everything in my clothes, but I hardly weighed myself because it wasn't about my weight, it was about being healthy and fit. I weighed myself once a month only.

I have the oposite problem, I loose 10 lbs and I think I look amazing lol a little too much perhaps cause that's when I usually end up going to my old bad habits. Maybe comparing some before and afters would help you mentally to see how far you've come.

I like the "hill" option. It goes from different resistances. I would also recommend to higher the level of resistance. Last night I didn't want to go either, kept trying to talk my husband out of it lol. He still made me go, and surprisingly I did better than usual, even did an extra 10 mins on my usual hour. :) like they say you never regret a good work out.
