Do small activities just to get in a routine. Ride a bike leisurely, walk dogs (if you have any), or look for a local fitness group. They make working out fun!

I use the scale and clothes. As my number drops, so does my waist. I now have jeans in size 33, 32, 31 and 30...which are now too big. Good problem to have, eh?!

Instead of seeing it as finding "time" to squeeze it in, make it a lifestyle and it will become routine in no time. I feel like a bum on days I don't workout

Food that is bad for you, is cheaper than foods that are good for you.

How she goin', eh!

Kudos for the hard work; keep it up!

Way to go, Paul! It truly is amazing how much better your life feels once you make positive and healthy choices.

In regards to fatty foods, eat more food fats: almonds, avacodos and etc
-
My two opinions are: 1) You could be eating to few calories. 1200 is the minimum someone should eat. What are your "goals" set at in MFP? 2) Have you measured body fat? You could be gaining muscle, which will throw your scale off. Does your body look more fit?

I would say active/very active

So would one with a lower body fat (which means more muscle) have a higher BMI?

It just seems...odd? to be that close to the dividing line. We all know how our minds like to play tricks on ourselves

I work nights for 4 years. Log my breakfast (3/4 pm), lunch (9 pm) on current day, and dinner on next. Don't boredom snack! Very hard to resist though

Those are great ways to start Syd! I love parking way back in lots, just to get more steps...and easier to park my truck :P

You look great. Way to stick with it!

Weekends are much harder for me. I love myself some sports, pizza and Budweiser. Not a good combination on Sundays :/

Muscle weighs more than fat, so as you gain it, your weight will not drop.

Training is the easy part in my mind; eating well is the hard part! :/

Seems like so many new diets come out daily. We would all be best eating grass and drink in' water.

I live just over the Michigan border, near Dundee.

Hello! This may be silly, but what is a "keto" diet?

Wow. Your story sounds exactly like mine! (Except I am male). I weighed 145 at the age of 21 and did triathlon/marathons. Now I am 25 and weigh 175 and can barely run a mile. Getting married in July of 2016 and hope to be at 155!
