You need to eat more as a vegan due to plant calories generally being lower in calories compared to animal products. And plant foods are cleaner sources of protein and healthy fats so your body will need more of this. Eat lots of grains, legumes, lentils, oats, avocados and fruit to get in enough calories.

I use a digital scale to weigh everything out, I usually scan the packaging or if there isn't any, find the closest match through the search

1,386 calories is what I have to eat to lose 1lb a week, I currently don't do much exercise, I do hike about once a week that's it. That is obviously more than the 1200 I started on, do you all think i will have more success with this new amount?

I am 5 foot 10 and currently way 11 stone 5 pounds (not sure what that is in only pounds) I do use a digital food scale and weigh everything out I did do food prep when I first started, I think I need to go back to that

I've been doing that too! I log lunch and dinner and snacks in the morning then can se hat I've got left for dinner
