Being patient is the #1 thing I have had to learn! My weight loss has been a roller coaster! Some weeks up and others way down. Trusting in what you are doing through the rough weeks is so important. Also, don't be hard on yourself if you slip up. It's a life change. You can't expect to NEVER have your favorite "bad for…

My advice is to take things slow, as hard as that may be! This has taken me over a year and I am still not at my goal. I aim for one pound lost at a time. Persistence and the good ole 80/20 rule.

Just ignore the negative! I have found that if people know that it bothers you it fuels the fire. If you aren't playing their game they will eventually get bored and stop making comments. It's okay that no one understands that its a lifestyle change. YOU know that you've changed your life for the better. I know it's hard…

Keep going! It's never easy, but does get ALOT better the farther along you go! Soon your new lifestyle will be second nature.

Hey! Mommy of an almost 14-month-old here. I gained 50lbs while pregnant, I have lost about 80lbs, and would like to lose at least another 20lbs. Feel free to add me! I log every day and my food journal is public!

Hey there! I'm 24, 5'6 and currently 166. I was 249 last year. My goal is 149. I may change it though!

I have 20 lbs to go also! Already lost about 80. I'm currently 169 and would like to be at 149.

Walden Farms brand makes 0 calorie coffee creamers. I find it in my local Publix by the rice cakes. It's not amazing but its not bad!

I stay at home part time and it can be challenging! When I find myself feeling snacky I try and either have a cup for coffee or chug lots of water. It also helps to not keep the chips and sweets around the house tempting you. When I absolutely have to have something, I'll have rice cakes with peanut butter, veggies with…

- whole pickles - two flavored rice cakes - spoonful of PB - mini box of dry cereal (usually around 100 cals) - granola bar - pretzels with mustard - celery and PB - animal crackers I have found that if I have a cup of coffee or lots of water with my snack it makes me feel more full.

Yes, when I was overweight, my periods were very crampy and heavy. The more weight I lose and the more I work out, the lighter they get. You may be simply adjusting to the new lifestyle change.

It's always hard for me the week leading up to that time of the month. I get very snacky! Almost like nothing can satiate me. I just try and chug my water and keep up my exercise regimen.

^ This exactly! People get so disappointed and turned off when I tell them all I do is count my calories and exercise regularly. And I only aim for one pound loss per week! I realized the majority of people aren't willing to put in the discipline and hard work to get results. It really hasn't happened over night. It took…

My food diary is public! Fell free to add me everyone! =]

If you would like this to be a permanent change, I would not try and put any time restraints on yourself. That is too much pressure and you may be setting yourself up for a big disappointment. To be most effective, focus on one week at a time. It took me just about one year to lose 75 lbs and go from a size 16 to a (snug)…

There are healthy or low calorie options when eating out! I look my options up in MFP before hitting the drive through.

Artic zero ice cream is like 150 cals for a whole pint!

I only weigh myself on Saturday mornings! If I have lost weight that week, I allow a cheat meal on Saturday night.
