  • I had my gallbladder removed 6 years ago. Right after the surgery meals with fat caused me issues. That settled down after 8 months - 1 year I think. Now I still have issues if I have a high fat meal, but it's not too big of a deal since it only lasts about 30 min. And it's a good reminder to make sure to not eat high fat…
  • My coach set the number. It is for 2100 cal and a 40/20/40 diet. Protein just came out to that. it was set like that to lose fat and gain muscle I believe. Idk I'm trying it out for 12 wks. Numbers will be rechecked next week.
  • No idea. I did an allergy blood test to cut out a LOT of time trying to figure out what was causing me problems and eggs showed up. Those tests are prone to false positives and so needs to be tested. My testing is inconclusive. Sometimes it seems to bother me other times not. So for now they are cut out. Truth be told I…
  • I am on 40p/20c/40f and need 210g of protein a day. It's an insane amount. I kind of gave up on normal breakfast type foods for breakfast due partly to the amount of protein I have to eat and the fact I can't have wheat or eggs (upsets my stomach). I'm relying on protein powder a lot right now. I figure my goal right now…
  • I drink tea because I love it. Several studies I have seen indicate caffine might help one lose weight, but it isn't significant. I think generally tea helps you lose weight if you are drinking a lot of calories and switch to tea and water only. Tea has hardly any calories so that can help. I have read that about oolong. I…
  • I would echo what pav8888 said. I stopped losing weight when I kept trying to stay on a low calorie diet (1200 cal a day). Despite lifting weights I wasn't getting stronger and despite cardio I wasn't getting faster/fitter. I started eating 1900 calories back in March and started losing weight again. Now I am on 2100 cal a…
  • Maybe try upping your protein intake. You can get to the point where it is hard to gain muscle because you aren't fueled right/not enough calories. Muscles take more calories to maintain so it increases the calories you burn. Maybe just up it a little bit for a while? I'm not sure active people are suppose to be on 1200 a…
