You realize a pound a week is quite good, right?
-
Miserable advice. With some proper planning you can easily lose weight and feel full and energetic with plant-based meals high in fiber, vitamins and protein. Why comment at all if you're going to be sarcastic and negative.

Fish oils, multivitamins, tums and pepto all have calories. I wouldn't worry about it though, unless you're eating like 15 tums a day

Proteins and fats, as well as soluble-fiber tends to keep you full longer, which in my opinion, would be helpful when dieting and counting calories. Ice-cream, again in my opinion, not so much. When I eat sugary cereal or candy I tend to start craving more, and then it leads to bad things :(

Have an enormous bowl of cooked cauliflower, 3-4 servings (60 calories), some green beans, (25 calories), some bean sprouts (200g for like 40 calories) with some soy sauce and 1/2 a tsp or margerine or olive oil (15 calories). If you add this ~130 calories to your protein source, shake, fruit, etc. your stomach will surely…

I would personally rather put water in my body or eat a hydrating fruit than drink a bottle full of carbonated chemicals. In the long run you probably won't notice much of a difference, but if I can avoid things produced in a lab in favor of things produced in nature, why not. :)

Everyone on this site is going to urge you to just eat lots of sweets and "fit it into your macros yolo iifym!!", but from personal experience if you just try to cut out most processed added sugars and stick to natural flavors: fruits, cacao, carob, honey, dates, etc. you'll find that your brain craves less of the things…

Not to be unsympathetic to anyone's needs or conditions, but I'm always so shocked when people say they struggle immensely to eat over 1000 calories. A banana with a serving of peanut butter will easily knock out 260~ calories in a minute

No it will not degrade. Treat it like any other food source

chocolate protein pancakes with white chocolate chips and some sugar free syrup. =)

instant jello, 20 or 40 calories per box depending on the brand/flavor. I have two boxes of lemon jello (40 cals) for an enormous tub with a bit of fruit on it. Really filling :)

I've gone from 235 to below 145 and sometimes I still don't feel like I've changed that much. A lot of it is mental, and that's something you'll work on as you continue to drop the lbs. Just keep it up and try to stay positive; look at the brighter things in life :)

I think you should youtube a basic video about macronutrients. Weight loss is about a caloric deficit. Sodium might make you retain water, temporarily causing weight gain, but that's not how actual weight/fat loss works.

I lost 90+ and I have a bit of skin around my waist but I'm pretty lucky that I was still youngish. It's still worth it, though.

Eat what you burn. If you continue losing weight then eat more. Simple :)
-
You're thinking of it wrong. Think of it as a sliding scale, between your goal weight and your current weight. Every day your caloric deficit or surplus will push you in one direction. Eat less than you burn and you will lose weight.

I would say either make him cook his own food, (both prepare your own meals, rather), or just throw in crap like hot pockets or easy to prepare things for him like hamburger helper, etc.

lol

It's been bugged for me for a while
-
I think MFP is bugged right now. I've been unable to edit my macro percentages for weeks now. I go up 200 calories and all the macros stay the same. I set it to 100% carb and nothing changes, etc.

You can get reasonable sized, whole grain flat breads for like 140 cals. They're thin, but they get the job done and they often have 6-7+g of protein and flax seed

I've noticed a big trend on these forums. Whenever someone asks for help or suggests cleaning out their flexible dieting a bit everyone runs in with their pitchforks; especially when it comes to sugar. Don't get me wrong, I follow iifym. I have ice cream and other treats from time to time, but when someone suggests cutting…

I always try, but I end up just eating fruit or other foods around lunch and convince myself the glucose will fuel my day. Really, I just like to eat, lol

I mean, it's just a basic list of solid ideas. They probably had nothing interesting to write about and had a deadline to meet. I don't see much of an issue.

Water weight. Sometimes you'll go weeks without losing weight and then lose several lbs overnight. Two days ago I was 147 now I'm 143. :)
-
I wouldn't recommend weighing yourself daily.

Most isolates will be lower in calories. You just have to buy one without fat or many carbs. Dymatize ISO-100 has about 106 calories per serving iirc, with only 1 gram of sugar and 25g of protein per serving. I think it's a bit more expensive too, though.

I'm pretty sure the website is broken right now. It won't let me change my goals either, for the last two days.
