I have only been a member for a couple of weeks but am struggling to find likeminded people. Most diaries I look at are attrotious! Not all calories have the same nutritional value. You can eat your allowance in *kitten* food and from what I see a lot of people do that.

"Bread is bread" - definately not accurate. There is a world of difference between cheap white bread with no nutritional value and whole grain bread with seeds and whole grains. Whole grain bread will sustain you for longer, keep the tummy rumbles at bay and provide you with plenty of iron and other keep your insulin level.

I can relate to being time poor. Can you ride a bike to work? I live in a city and ride to work 14kms each way as a minimum exercise. Two other days a week I get up at 5am to do some hills work on the bike before work at 9am. And if you dont work weekends, that's a good opportunity. You will feel tired initially, but eat…

Sugar in moderation is fine, but if you think that you are (seriously) addicted then you have a problem Jen. It not only adds weight but it contributes to mood swings which can lead to overeating, for example. So that's a cycle that is self defeating. It's a hard one to ween yourself off, because it is addictive. Do a…
