I've had my move for over 3 months & really like it. I've just this week changed the battery. I've upped my step goal from 4500 to 8500 during that time as well. I didn't wear it on Sat as it didn't go with my dress & it felt slightly strange without it.

I normally have mine on my belt/pocket. I think it depends where you put it though - if it's on my belt or waistband I have it near my hip. However, I tend to hook it on a pocket instead. How high up was your belt as well? I guess the higher up it was the less movement it may have recorded. I haven't had any issues with it…

I have mapmywalk connected to up. That way it shows me all the details straight in my up app & the total gets added to mfp with the rest of my calories burnt.

I have adjustments added till Monday, nothing for yesterday & nothing for today :(
-
Are you trying to do it direct from the app? I did the same & mine did that. I logged on via the browser & could add it. Or try disconnecting & reconnecting from within UP. The food works, but no steps for yesterday. The telltale sign is I have negative adjustments set & in the morning it starts at 0 whereas it used to…

I did the same. I now have my step goal (although it took a while to change from the default 10000), but now no steps or exercise synced for yesterday, at all. My MFP app keeps trying to update, but it keeps saying it fails as well.

Mine did the same until I went to bed. Woke up this morning & all my exercise calories appeared for yesterday. It's a good way to avoid eating them back! It hasn't been given me negative adjustments beforehand, so hoping that it is a syncing issue & will be sorted soon.

Mine has stopped syncing for the last 2 days - anyone else? I don't think I've changed anything.

Ok, I get that, but there is a difference between the estimate burn in MFP used to calculate it & what it says in the UP app. I.e today, the UP app has my estimated burn as 3029, but in the calcs MFP only has it as 2753....I have added no exercise directly into MFP, only in the UP app.

I'm August 22nd  Trying to tone up & lose a little.

Ok, so I used an app this morning that just connects to MFP & not UP. I did not log it as a workout in UP, but my negative adjustment has deducted all the calories from it. It was lunges & squats, so not something up would be able to track via movement. I realise I need to change the mind set, but it is a bit disheartening…

Thanks. I will try these  might start logging the exercise just UP & disconnecting Fitstar from MFP.

Hi, I'm 25 & from the UK. Getting married in August & want to slim down/tone up. Also want to get back to playing sport & just got a Jawbone Up Move. I've been doing MFP for a month, but just enabled negative adjustments 25, 5"4 SW: 161 CW: 154 GW: 146 (trying to be realistic, but would love to go lower).

Mine has magically appeared now, so fingers crossed it does for you too.

Glad it's not just me then....

Have you checked the settings for your food diary? I had to change my food diary to public & then it started syncing.
-
Check your privacy settings on your diary on the web version of mfp. This happened to me & then I changed the diary settings to public & all fixed.

I spent the first few days doing things as normal to see what my average was. This week I have upped it by 500 steps & will see how I get on with that before upping it again in the next few weeks. I currently have it clipped to my trousers, but clipped it to my sock for one thing last week.

I have the Move & app, but not a wristband yet. I specifically wanted a non-wrist based tracker, hence why I got the Move. I've had it just under a week & found the app useful. It can pull in details from here for the food & then your steps go into here. For sleep I just change modes when I get into bed & put it on the…

Hi I have CFS/ME so know what it's like. I don't measure myself against anyone else, just what I can manage. With CFS keeping the heart rate lower is key as I find it tires me out more if I do anything strenuous. Slowly & steadily & build up. Always turn back before you feel you've gone too far & don't push yourself too…

I'm August 22nd. Need to lose 20lbs & tone my arms up as well. I've just started, so any inspiration etc is welcome. I have health issues so can't do much cardio exercise, but trying to walk the dog more & do strength stuff to tone up. Also, my big thing is eating when I'm actually thirsty, so trying to drink more. It…
