  • I'm new to the community as well but I'd suggest reading the MFP blog articles. Read one today about removing negativity, being proud of your accomplishments -- you've lost 5 pounds and you're surrounding yourself with like-minded people for support. Sounds like you're on the right track.
  • Congrats on the weightloss! I would be careful with smoothies (too much fruit could mean too much sugar = too many calories) and whey protein (tends to bulk you up).
