Well I finally made it to 210lbs. That's 15lbs in 30 days. I can now see my goal of 190 in reach. 1500 call diet still isn't any easier lol

Tonight I weigh in for the week. I will do it after 30 min on the elliptical. I'm hoping I'm at 210 or below. All my friends believe I look better over 200 since I'm 5'11" but I'm going to reach 190 if it kills me!!! I'll post the results. Good luck to you guys

@JackieUnlimited it's all good. I watch the ingredients closely. Actually the real challenge is sodium. I can't believe how much sodium is in everything. I'm searching the net constantly for recipes. I'm getting healthier but it's costing me more money LOL

@JackieUnlimited good idea. UPDATE.. today is my second day trying to cut out all carbs. I didn't do too bad but it's going to be harder than I thought for food options. I weighed this morning and I'm now down from 225 to 211. I was so excited to see the scale reading that. My motivation is in high gear and my energy…

I was a drill instructor in the Marine Corps. Motivation is my game. After I left the corps I went from 180lbs 5'10" to 225lbs. Started my workout and diet three weeks ago and now I'm down to 211. My goal is 190. If you need to talk let me know. You can do this! You love yourself enough to make it happen.

I started a strict 1500 call a day diet with only cardio ie elliptical training. I started today to remove all carbs from my diet. I NEED HELP!! I need recipes badly and encouragement to meet my goal. Was 225 lbs 5'10", 46 y/o. I am currently at 214, 3 weeks in. My goal is 190 lbs.

Im new to MyFitnessPal. I just started my journey 4 days ago. I retired from the Marine Corps and put on a bit of weight. So now the fight is on to get back to my fighting weight. I hope to develop some friendships and a support net as I pursue my goal of losing 30 lbs.
