That sounds amazing! I had grits with butter and bacon bits. YUM!

Depends on your goals. I like the taste of both. In general soy is more protein, and almond is lower calorie, so pick whichever one works better for you.

Again, thank you! I'll go by and pick up a tape soon. I knew that water retention is a thing, but I didn't realize that measurements would help (It makes sense, just not something I thought of). I will keep an eye on protein, so thank you for your advice. I do have another question you might be able to help with. Tuesday…

Thank you so much! I do have an appointment on Tuesday, and this list is perfect! I had no idea what to say before.

Thank you! I've looked into stronglifts, and it seems very basic and simple to a complete newbie. How do you suggest body measurements? Just a regular measuring tape? Should the macros that MFP automatically suggests be enough protein?

I am so very sorry. I have never had that happen to me, but I have had to tell people that they cannot ride because they can't fit, and let me say it's also really embarrassing to have to say it.. I always want people to have fun when they come in, but sometimes I have to be the bearer of bad news, and it sucks pretty…

I work at an indoor amusement park in Florida, and several of our rides have weight requirements, so we weight everyone who gets in line to ride our roller coaster simulator. Previous to this job, I had noticed overweight people, but now that I actually measure it, it's eye opening. I still remember the first time I…

Mine is private because in the past I've gotten caught up in the "Clean eating" trend, to the point where I was obsessed about how "clean" my food was. I would be super hard on myself if I had anything that wasn't organic/clean/whatever the flavor of the month was. Now I'm trying to be much more moderate, but I still feel…

Nope. No health benefit. I bought organic foods for a year and noticed to no change compared to now.

I used to take them for YEARS because other pills would make me puke. I needed a multivitamin to correct a poor diet, so when some were too harsh on my stomach, I tried TONS of brand until I found one that worked. Now that my diet is better I don't take a multi, but I do still take supplements as needed for my disease to…

I've had mixed reactions on me being vegetarian. After five years, you learn to live and let live. I don't bring it up, or discuss it with people unless they ask, and even then, I keep it short. My diet isn't up for debate, and I don't bother to talk about it unless important. Also, when they get mad, something along the…

I had a similar issue when I was eating little to no added fat. Adding in some more fat (within my macros) and hitting closer to my protein goal have both helped. I feel much more full when I hit close to my goals. And no, I didn't set my own goals, just going with what MFP gave me.

Check out different therapist. Bounce around until you find one that works with you. Also, be honest and request medication. Tell them that you have an extreme iron deficency and that your anxiety is preventing you from actually taking care of your health. I swear they will listen. Just keep trying.

Therapy. No, seriously, get therapy if it's that bad. I'm not trying to be mean. I also have anxiety, and you need therapy. There is no shame it it, but your anxiety is damaging your overall health, so please, for your mental health and your physical health, go get help.

His name is Joe Cross, and he did his juice fast under careful watch of a doctor. Talk to your doctor and see what they think, and if your doctor says it's okay, then sure. However you don't need to. Until then use MFP.

I live in Panama City Beach Florida, so during Spring break, the crazy drunks are my threat. Getting hit by one, or getting assaulted by a group of them. I normally run early in the morning because most of them are passed out. During the summer the threat is heat stroke and drivers flying down the road. Winter though,…

Did 30 minutes of yoga, and then did day one of C25k.

I love coffee. I don't drink it daily, but I drink it a few times a week. I drink home brewed starbucks, with unsweetened vanilla almond milk (about 20 calories worth) and stevia (My favorite no calorie sweetener.) When I got to starbucks I normally just get a tea and use my own stevia to sweeten.

It totally depends. I wouldn't do a really hard workout. If it isn't too bad, I'd do a light workout. If you are miserable, rest, or go for a short walk.

(Almost) 20 and going back to college this fall. I totally welcome a friend request!

I love soy milk personally. I like the taste, texture, everything! It's got more calcium than milk, and is on par with protein.
