  • I agree with ^ I got tired just reading about your activity!! Have you put your stats in the Scooby calculator? I made some assumptions saying your 5'5" and weigh 160. At the highest activity level with a 15% reduction to lose weight your BMR is 1615 your TDEE is 3069 and your reduction would have you eating 2609. If you…
  • lol @heybales you crack me up!!
  • Thank you SO MUCH to everyone! Makes me feel better about the BF and the inches. My belly is the biggest so I guess I just have to be patient. I will stick with my nonfat Greek yogurt- it's tart but I mix with real fruit. And the only ingredient is pasturized skim milk and has 6g sugar from that.
  • Rachel I was curious so I visited the site and downloaded the free 29 page book. Honestly I wouldn't pay for it. With the resources here and online that are free I will tell you what that program reminds me of...Stronglifts 5x5 and the EM2WL philosophy. I would say do both of these and spend your money on something more…
  • Thanks @CassieBergquist !! :#
  • Nice! That sounds like a good compromise! I did nothing because I wound up with some stupid cold/stomach bug. So prob derailed til Wed. Blah
  • Thank you! Yes I spoke too soon lol. I was soooo sore yesterday and still sore today- which would've been a workout day but I have some nasty cold/stomach bug thing so no workout today
  • From what I understand if you are sore and can do 50% load and do the same workout like that so blood flows to area but you are not lessening the repair of the muscles. You do not want to do regular bc you won't be fully repaired for Wed. I also think, depending on how sore you are, skipping and waiting til Wed is fine and…
  • Thank you! I'll have to research both and give a try!
  • Thank you every one! I will have to try a few of those!
  • Thank you!!
  • I will have to try to ON. Although I would be interested in a vegan/vegetarian option as well!
  • Thank you everyone! I was all geared up to workout but a cold/flu took over last night. So now I'm out for a couple days at least. Not happy about that!!
  • Thank you!!
  • Thank you both so much! I'm glad to hear that bc I want to workout out but didn't want to hurt myself. Feels like DOMS and not injury
  • That's awesome! Congrats! I'm trying to break the "numbers on the scale" habit
  • Thanks @Jennbecca33! You're right I might be closer to moderate so I will eat at light and do 3x week SL and add in some walking. We went for a nice leisurely 30 min walk. And hope to have enough results come beach time to be happy and confident. I know I won't see all the results I want til Mid-July probably but I would…
  • Thank you both! Sorry I didn't mean I needed to lose the weight and BF in 5 weeks- that would be crazy! I want to lose 10lb in 5 weeks though
  • I hate when half my post doesn't show. I have no idea why it does that!! I'm not retyping it lol but I did add you as a friend
  • @Jamieliftsweights Thank you so much for the suggestions and your routine. I know I shouldn't stress about it - so trying not too. Regular clothes I look good in but being in a bikini in front of everyone I know so soon
  • @Fujiberry thank you. I started the SL5x5 today. It felt super easy lol
  • @heybales I answered you too but my whole response isn't showing above? How do I keep my long posts so they show?
  • @agardengrrrl you're right. Odd. I did it before and have the screen shot and it is as I reported above. But today when I did it it does match yours. All info entered was the same both times. I'm so confused- I wonder if it was down or messed up or something the first time?! Well that can solve the hunger issue
  • Thanks everyone. I am 5'4", 142lb. Scooby has me at the: BMR 1220 TDEE: 1677 -15%: 1426 @Jennbecca33 oooh! I hope it's because my metabolism is speeding back up! That would be awesome!! Yes @heybales these are my 30 min work outs 3x week. That's only 1.5 hrs activity. I had in another 1.5 for normal life. So I guesstimate…
  • @Balance_Moderation Thank you! All updated. Yea that 1200 cals thing needs fixed! I would eat what I should but it always showed me over calories (bc over 1200) and that RED number was disconcerting. Even though I know it wasn't right I hated seeing that lol
  • I just started this and 1) lost not starving and staying at 1200 ... 2) I have lost 2 inches so far off waist, belly and hips! I have lost weight also which is nice but when I get stagnant but know inches are falling I'm happy. It's hard to change thinking to NSV.... But hey I'd rather be fit and lean and thin and size 4…
  • @Jennbecca33 @heybales Why does MFP, when on auto choose, always put me at 1200 calories? I can choose 1 lb week to lose and it always says 1200. But my TDEE -15% is 1380. And BMR is 1220. So what gives with MFP??
  • @Jennbecca33 Thank you. That's what I am doing but wanted to make sure accurate. I do workout consistently now (only been doing this a month but religiously for 2 weeks).
  • @MandaLeigh123 @heybales I can't get the links above to open or send to my computer and the spreadsheet is way too small on my phone ;p Is it possible to be emailed it please? Laurengreyblue@gmail.com
  • @heybales along with my question above...what's this spreadsheet I keep reading about?
