These are great before pictures.... Get busy working on some "after" progress. No one can give you the determination on a discussion board, but if you need a person that stays with the program and will comment on your progress then friend me. Open your diary to public....that is the greatest accountability. Mine is open.…

I agree with a ALL of the above. I was there for 6 weeks and just found my motivation this week. Try a cleanse. I didn't think that I was constipated, but I was apparently. I once heard the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.....change everything up a little bit. A…

awesome.... I will see if I can find you guys Thank you!

here is to wishing you the very best success! Everyone reaches plateaus....just determine that even if you go there to change something---anything----whether it is a different kind of work out or a different kind of food from your regular routine. Welcome back!

With me.... it is what I eat and how much I eat of it that tells the story so I agree....compare your diary entries of when you were losing to where you have been over the past month and see what is going on. It is difficult to process, but just because it is a low cal carb does not mean that you can indulge. Keep them to…

Most of us need the before pictures because our eyes play tricks on us and we don't see how big we were until it starts coming off and some days....even with the loss....I still see me as "the bigger me" staring back at me in the mirror.

I know that you have heard this before...I have heard it all my life....but at 44 and my sister is 54....I see a significant difference in how with each passing year, IT REALLY IS HARDER FOR THE POUNDS TO COME OFF. So with that being said...just do it. Don't take vacations from your goal. If you mess up...record it and…

according to the dr....don't over anticipate that menopause thing to help with the period cravings, because when she seen me losing weight....she said that I better lose another 15 lbs to compensate for the "menopausal gain" that is soon to come. My confession is that with very good intentions, I will log out of the diary…

when mfp gives that statement....read the whole statement..... "you would weight ____________ if every day was like today for 5 weeks" That's everything you logged. Your food, and activity journal. It is an estimate, because none of us do the same thing every day exactly for 5 weeks straight.

I am on my journey so no success story to share yet, but that was a good question and all the answers above have been very inspiring.

I was born with a lot of muscle tone and then given my job....I have developed even more so I do not want any more muscles. Cardio is my friend. I do it every day. At least 1 hour.

same for me....

:* Yes, that is a big change and I know that you must feel better. Keep up the good work.
-
you are welcome to add me as well. I log daily and I am very transparent with my diary.....keeps me on track to know that someone will be checking in on me. If I go over....I still log....Stay with it....if you are sick and tired of being sick and tired then now is your time.

Make sure that you have been checked out by a dr and do not have any health issues that are causing you to plateau. Stick it out.....staying the same is better than getting frustrated, throwing in the towel and gaining. Get moving.....if you are moving....move more.

I would say just snack healthy and learn to welcome the sound of your tummy growling...... it is the sound of your inner stomach shrinking. It means you are doing something right. But..... you don't have to make it growl long. Give it a healthy snack after you get the satisfaction of hearing it for a bit. Week 3 was the…

that is pretty awesome.... good for you... The initial weight loss was so much....did you have any surgery?

hey.... my name is penny and I am looking for some friends to be supportive on my weight loss journey. It is hard to find people that stick with it. I started my weight loss journey 9 weeks ago when the dr told me that my triglycerides were 820.... they are supposed to be like under 150. I have lost 19 total lbs. but I did…
