  • I'm glad you made this topic because the exact same thing happened to me this month. I just started counting calories (i'm not even exercising right now), but I lost 5 pounds within a week. I was wondering if it is just water weight and will come back which would be discouraging.
  • i have an egg allergy and am lactose intolerant! Usually for breakfast I make a smoothie with more veggies than fruits (celery, spinach, apple cider vinegar, half cup of frozen fruit). I also like to do peanut butter toast or avocado toast. I know you are trying to cut down on carbs so you may not like those options. The…
  • Balsamic Fig chicken You will need shallots, balsamic vinegar, lemon and some fig jam. Simmer all that on a skillet and that will be the chicken marinade. Pair with a green salad and sweet potatoes.
  • i love having ground turkey, some salsa & cheese (if you eat cheese) on top of romaine hearts. Yum!
  • also wanted to add, I also enjoy the prepackaged sushi at grocery stores. They are not really cheap but for under $10 it doesn't kill my nutrition or calorie bank for the day. Just wanted to add another suggestion in case it helps you!
  • you could make soup with any veggies that you think are going bad soon. it changes the flavor in my opinion. Otherwise, sometimes I just go to a salad place in my neighborhood that is expensive but eat half of it for lunch and the other half for dinner. Chipotle isnt horrible either and you can calculate your calories…
  • peanut butter on toast with half a banana and cinnamon . I eat this daily! or I make a fruit-spinach smoothie with almond milk.
  • I find all the flavors disgusting and chemical-y tasting
  • The easiest (and boringest for me) is eating the same foods every day and knowing exactly how many calories are in it. That way there is no room for fluctuations. If it helped me lose 1 pound the week before w/ no exercise, I know the results will be consistent.
  • This is going to sound horrible, but I miss going out to restaurants with my fat friends and ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and dessert.. Even if it did make me feel like puking at the end of the night... lol
  • I hate to say it but that feeling is always there, even when you get in shape. But if we're honest, really no one at the gym cares. They are too busy paying attention to themselves.
  • I liked reading what she had to say. Just because it doesn't apply to you doesn't give you the right to attack anyone that posts. If you don't like it you don't have to enter the thread. Jeez people on this forum are SUCH bullies.
  • people who don't rerack their weights seriously piss me off and I wish fat rolls on them
  • I think you probably need to lower your calorie intake. Honestly, people always say 1500 calories blahblah, but I never lose weight unless i go down to 1200. I'm 5'2 and 28 years old.
  • Yes, yes and yes! You are not alone because lately I have been doing the same. Although it's mainly saying no to coworkers for happy hour and seeing friends less often because all they want to do is drink booze and then eat. I also have signed up for a 5K that's in 2 weeks and I just can't run the risk of drinking too much…
