  • I was going to be getting my tubes tied this month before my insurance got screwed up. Just a few weeks ago, I settled for Nexplanon to use in the meantime. Its been really hard for my body to adjust in some ways. It makes me queasy, and moody, but I'm confident my body will adjust in a few months time. I have heard that…
  • I'm pretty sure I'm in the right discussion group, buddy. I know the difference between high carb and low carb, lol.
  • Since having babies, I have definitely developed anxiety! I even had a psych evaluation and needed treatment because it got so bad after my first. Since my son has been born, though, I'm not having as hard of a time. Not usually anxious, I sleep well, feel fine unless I'm PMSing, no postpartum depression this time.
  • Never thought of that! My blood pressure is usually 90/60 but has definitely been lower than that, too. I don't track my sodium, but from when I was logging, I was getting too much.
  • This was Wednesday...keep in mind I wasn't limiting any of my macros at the time. 6AM: Coffee with heavy cream and some berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries) 8AM: Bagel with PB and Cinnamon 10AM: Chobani Flip Yogurt Noon: Black bean burger on wheat with ketchup and a spinach salad with tomatoes,…
  • I have a meter, but I think it needs new batteries, so I haven't checked my level during an episode yet. The most information I have is that after a 1-hour glucose tolerance test my levels were only 80 (and I was pregnant at the time). The nurses were surprised how low it was considering the amount of sugar I drank an hour…
  • I'm glad that it has worked out for you guys...makes me feel much more positive about transitioning to a low-carb lifestyle. Type 2 diabetes runs on both sides of my family...on my dad's side its obesity and alcoholism related, but on my mother's side it seems to be caused by hormonal changes-they all develop it…
  • I'm ALWAYS 5 pounds heavier on the Drs scale. Doesn't matter what I'm wearing, the time of day, what I've eaten, or if it's even the same Doctors office...never fails, lol.
  • I'm 23! Anyone feel free to add me. I don't log my food on here often (I use an app called TwoGrand that allows me to have a picture diary of everything I eat), but I am on here daily interacting with others since I am still a part of groups. :D Plus I love my current friends.
  • I agree with intermittent fasting. I love it, myself and can't wait to get back into it once my body settles from having a baby and lactating.
  • Lost 25 lbs in 2.5 weeks...then again I gave birth and gained a ton of weight! Otherwise, I can't see it being possible in most circumstances.
  • I'm 23...looking to lose 65 pounds...45 of which is baby weight. I eat 2200 calories a day because I'm lactating like a dairy cow! Would love some friends my age!
