Um, ok. My diet has always been nutritious. Lots of veggies, meats, some fruits, dairy . . . I have just chosen to limit foods that have added sugars in them. My research is based on how I feel when I limit added sugar in my diet and cutting way down on the sweet treats I consume vs. how I feel when I have it. The result? I feel much better without the added sugar and sweet treats. That's MY research.

I have always been a toe/mid-foot striker regardless of the shoes that I'm wearing. I have the vibram 5 finger shoes that I wore probably half a dozen times running and I screwed up my foot due to no cushion.

I was fitted at a running store and I wear brooks adrenaline. I'm going to get another analysis done soon and see what shoe is recommended.

I am extremely cognizant of foods that have added sugars, the type of sugar it is, where is it on the ingredient list, how many grams are in a serving etc. I eat fruit (not a lot though. No reason, I just don't) and veggies and will have the occasional dessert when at a restaurant but it's rare when I do.

Well I suppose it depends on you. How often do YOU want to squat? I do legs every other day so my squat day is typically 1 day a week since the other days I do other exercises that work the legs.

I had a hard time getting up early this winter, especially when it was 20 or 30 below zero. There was a good stretch of weeks where I didn't hit the gym for that reason. Thank goodness for DVD's!! Why not just let people go to whatever gym they want? I go to Planet Fitness and it suits my needs just fine. $21/month is the perfect price. I would never EVER pay $500/month for a gym membership. *shrugs* I see nothing wrong with it. I honestly think the outrage is because it was a 20 year old female saying it about a guy. The fact that she was his daughters friend is irrelevant. If it were reversed and it was a sons friend saying it about a mom I'm sure the response would be much different.
