Back on track today which feels nice.

It's 6 pieces now - opened the fridge to get a Atkins shake - ended up eating two more pieces of leftover pizza. Uggh. This is the first time I have seen my calorie number in the red before in 40+ days......kinda scary. But I won't slip. I leave for two days trip to LA tomorrow - going to have to get it together - eating…

Well I ended up pigging out and eating 4 pieces of ultimate cheese lovers (alfredo sauce) with pepperoni - pan style. Was able to skip the mountain dew they provide for everyone. Guess no breakfast or dinner today for me and I will still be under my CICO to lose weight. I got home so late last night I skipped dinner last…

Our parties are the 11 of us in a room sitting in a small circle (like your touching the person next to you). If your eye brow twitches everyone notices and asks whats wrong. The boss will be excited probably since I normally eat 5-6 slices each party - he can order one less pizza! Jeesh! People love the pizza - I have…

Was just thinking this as I got ready for work today. I don't need to have some solid body but it will be an amazing day when I look for and my stomach isn't sticking out in my shirt in front of me and just goes straight up and down. Whoa!!!
-
I get to have two slices of pizza when i get into the 200's - 8lbs to go!
-
I did adjust what MFP told me to eat calorie wise down 200 calories to speed things up - maybe I can afford to eat back 200 calories of what I burned.
-
So today I walked around a track for 15 minutes slowly - and shot layups on the basketball court. 276 calories it says to eat back - whoa!

I mean I really don't want to eat them back but I suppose if I have too I will. From my experience in past 35 days when I eat them back I don't lose weight. When I don't eat them back I lose about 1-2lbs a week. I am so full already from my normal meals during the day. I hate the fact I get to end of day and MFP is like -…

You know I didn't really think about that williams969 - I just watched all the videos on the website and they are all done in the squat rack but your right - I can just take the bar and go do them off the floor huh. Not looking to partner up or workout with anyone (at least for now).
-
I think I will try it.

It's hard to ask to jump in on the rack because they are lifting hundreds of pounds and have it all set up perfect - then there is me - I would have to unrack all their weight then rerack it. Not sure they would be stoked about that. I am 99% sure they are doing StrongLifts too so they are spending 45 minutes doing the…

Yeah - my heart rate monitor is in a watch so it does okay for walking, jogging, etc but then nothing for my workouts. It does sync if I wanted but I turned that feature off because it was estimating way way over. The reason I use MFP is so that I can watch my calories go down and keep eating till zero. I realize just…

LOVE THIS IDEA - WOO HOO - FOUND A SOLUTION. The truth is I have no idea what my real calorie burn is. I have a heart rate monitor that tells me one thing, treadmill tells me another, workout app says something really high, MFP tells me another number - all for the same exercise and all 100-200 different from each other.…

Not that advanced yet. Would not even know what to add. Someone told me to just go and run the track for 15-20 minutes (doing some sprinting and some jogging/walking) to get a quick good cardio blast. Then to not sweat the workout so much and just do StrongLifts 5x5. Three exercises a day that are easy to understand -…

Love all this info - such smart informed people here.

Good to know.

Awesome responses - thanks - I would say 100% of people here agree to go ahead and drink away! I like that answer!!! This is the kind of stuff I was talking about reading: The study concluded that eating artificially-sweetened foods would eventually lead to greater weight gain than eating foods sweetened with regular sugar…

This is great to know. Thanks for the great feedback. I know I am burning calories doing high intensity weight training but when I enter strength training exercises into MFP pal it doesn't give me any credit calorie wise. It's okay though - as long as I am working out it's a formality really.

Okay. I thought there was a FitBit where you pushed the button on the side when you started exercising and then pushed it again when you stopped and it gave you a "general" idea of calories burned based on heart rate, time, weight, height. Am I wrong? Any FitBit people know?
