Today I tried my first day of strenght training. I think I'm going to do beginners strenght training 3x a week and my cardio 2x a week. I know it's going to take time, but I'm excited for results!

I'm 5'2 128lbs. I don't really have a goal weight, I just wanna appear leaner with some muscle tone.
-
My goal is to look toned, not bulky. I still don't know exactly what I'm doing, so hopefully I get good results.

I looked through them and they all cost money. :/ I'm unfortunately a poor college student. I found an app called jefit that has beginner workouts, has anyone heard of that? I found a beginners machine only womens strenght training 3x a week I think I'll try out with cardio 2x a week. Do you guys think that sounds like A…

I looked through the links. I know this is going to sound dumb, but I'm still clueless and a little confused on what to do.

I think I'm going to try it out for 2x a week if I can figure it all out. Today I used the strength training machines, but I'm not sure if that is what I shuld be doing.

I have a fitbit and would love more friends. My username is MissLyss. For whatever reason it won't let me add you.

I've recently returned back to my healthy lifestyle, so it's another new beginning. This app has done so much to help me. What are your goals? Good luck!

About a month ago I finally got myself back on track again. It's hard, but once you get in a routine it gets easier. Good luck!

I'm 5'2 130 lbs and use cardio to help me get into better shape as well. I've recently gotten back to logging all my meals. I made a goal of 1200 calories a day and generally do good not going over.

We're about the same. I'm 23 5'2 and currently 132 lbs. I don't necessarily have a goal weight, I just want to be a little more slim like I was a couple years ago before gaining weight again. I wish I had a before and after pictures.

I think it just depends on a lot of things like your start weight and how fast you lose it. I know eating healthier and drinking water helps your skins elasticity.

I'm looking for committed friends to help keep me in line. I'm happy you're as motivated as got are, good luck!

I have an upcoming wedding as well! I'm 5'2 and currently 126 lbs. My goal is to look more lean.

I'm sorry guys, I worded that odd. I go to college and am 22 years old. I get shin splints when I go on runs, so I use the elliptical as an alternative because it doesn't give me thin splints. I was wanting to seek out ways to prevent/help my shin splints so I can go on an actual run without being in pain.

Today I'm 127 and my goal is 120.

I'm starting over again as well. I've been so close to my goal multiple times, but when classes roll around I don't have the time. Here are some things I'm currently doing this time around. Hopefully when classes roll around late August I can stick to it this time. 1. Don't eat when I'm not hungry. 2. Only buy healthy…

I have a cheat day once a week, so don't feel bad. If you don't like the idea of "cheat meals" find a way to stay in your calorie goal by eating less or healthier for your other meals that day and workout to give yourself more calories for the day.

This is amazing, you're an inspiration to others!

I have to have snacks or I will start to feel ill at times. When shopping only buy healthy foods to snack on. I love steamed carrots, light salad, boiled eggs, popcorn, cut peppers, cuties, and cherry tomatoes. I hope this helps.

I love getting low calorie yogurt and putting then in a popsicle maker container and freezing it. One 6Oz yogurt makes 3 popsicles and it's delicious.

It's crazy how 139 is considered obese. How talk are you? I'm 22 years old 5'2, and 125lbs. When I started MFP I was a little over 140lbs and my goal is 120lbs.

Congratulations guys! Thanks for the replies!

Same here. I'm a 22 year old who works full time and goes to school full time. It's so hard to relate to other people trying to become healthier.
-
Congratulations! You got this! You may not make it to your goal in 5 months, but you can definitely make a different within that time!

If you don't mind me asking what is your goal wait? Good luck!

I try to drink a lot of water and eat an apple, if I'm still hungry I will eat veggies. Don't revert to empty calories because you will continue to be hungry.
