My problem is in the morning when I get up I can hardly walk. I've been told a knee replacement is in my future. But my weight loss has helped.

The worst was the lnasty tasting liquid fast diet in the mid 1970's. Nothing but nasty liquid protein 3 times a day. No chewing, no food at all. Lost 15 lb in 2 weeks. That plus more came roaring back immediately. Horrible

My psychiatrist put me on Wellbutrin to counteract the weight gain of some of my other meds. It keeps me from binges and I'm not as hungry so it works for me.

There is no starvation mode causing weight gain thing. It's all about eating fewer calories than you burn.

Bread and rice and pasta leave me hungry either right away or within an hour of eating them so I avoid them

What amazes me is this. I've lost 60 lb in 5 years. I walked around with that 60 lbs for years. Yet I can't even lift 60 lb. how did I live like that?

I'm on Geodon and Wellbutrin. Geodon is supposed to be weight neutral and a side effect is appetite suppression.

My downfall is chocolate chips. I bought some Lindor chocolate balls individually wrapped at 77 calories each but unfortunately I still prefer chocolate chips.

I start my day with a 77 calorie Linder dark chocolate truffle sometimes. Totally worth 20 minutes of walking.

I did Nutrisystem after my son was born. Boring food, expensive, and I didn't learn how to keep it off. Gained it all back plus more.

It's all calories in/calories out. Get a good scale and weigh and log everything. Easy to say but harder to do.
