  • I am happy to report it has now been 2 whole weeks in which I haven't had a period. Yay! Sounds so goofy to say that but after having a period every other week there for 2 months, this feels like a milestone. I am hoping my hormones have leveled out and my estrogen stores have been dumped.

  • I have been keto for 3 months and normally I have a period every 5-6 weeks due to my birth control pill but then last month I had one 3 weeks since my previous one and Now I am having one again after only 2 weeks since my last one. So it's definitely making my body a little whacked out.

  • I agree with the other comments. If you are craving fruit try making fat bombs with berries. That way you won't feel deprived and you can still enjoy fruits like berries in moderation since usually one batch of fat bombs will only use 1/4 cup of berries total.   • I snack on nuts or cheese and yes pork rinds but if my sweet tooth is in affect then I will eat a quest bar. I have checked my ketones a few hours after eating one and still have a moderate amount of ketones in my urine so I feel they are ok for me to have in my eating plan.

  • What's your target protein? Your example looks pretty high in protein which is how people can find set backs from becoming ketoadapted because high protein leads to gluconeogenesis.
  • I weigh everything if I can. I feel it's more precise that even using measuring cups. I find that you actually get more if you weigh it due to bulky pieces not utilizing space in the container being measured.
  • Take photos! I would take them at least every 30 days. That will motivate you to see changes even if the scale doesn't show any.
  • I am new and can use friends too. I started Keto a few days ago. I have been lifting heavy for 4 years and maintaining the weight I lost 10 years ago ( about 75 lbs) but the weight is creeping up the past few months so now I am stoping with the intermittent fasting and high protein dieting and trying Keto.
