For me, Myprotein Impact Whey is the best combination of value, taste and quality/macros and it's not even close.
-
This. 240-260 grams of protein is 68-74% of your total caloric intake. That's insane.
-
If I work out in the afternoon I'll usually have 40 grams of whey with iced coffee. In the morning I've started training in a fasted state.

Tabatas - 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest, eight rounds I do them with burpees and mountain climbers...sometimes other stuff

The Y is generally more expensive than limited service facilities (such as Planet Fitness or a regular lifting gym) but cheaper than a private full service gym. They are opening a Lifetime Fitness in my town, which will cost three times what the Y costs for a family ($300/month versus $100/month).

This is analogous to a cigarette smoker seeking alternatives to rolling paper because they heard they cause cancer.
-
This, plus hydration.

I'll see you in the Fall when I'm back to maintenance.

Nothing chocolately, because it will melt. Look at Quest bars or their more reasonably priced cousin Kirkland bars.
-
I would assume 300-400 calories for the beans and rice and another 100-150 calories for the cheese and sour cream.
-
You don't look like you weigh that much, so I have inferred that 180-200 grams of protein absorbs a pretty big chunk of your TDEE requirement (> 50%).
-
I don't think there's anything harmful about eating a lot of protein. It's a matter of preference. That said, looking at your avatar, I'm wondering if eating so much protein is coming at the expense of adequate carbs and fats, which are also important to your overall diet.

So you train five days total per week - three consecutive days and two consecutive days? Depending on the duration and intensity of your training, that sounds fine. Six consecutive days of cardio is pushing it, and seven is definitely overdoing it.
-
Unless you're morbidly obese, I think it's definitely in the realm of possibility to finish a marathon in three years, as long as you're diligent in your training.
-
I ran 6 miles yesterday at an 8:20 pace. MapMyRun said I burned 984 calories. Yeah, right.
-
So did Costco. It's the same federal regulations that require restaurants to post nutrition info. I know some people feel this is government overreach, but I bet it results in a lot of different food choices.
-
I use the pancake syrup almost every day. I use the blueberry/strawberry syrups in Greek yogurt and the caramel syrup on ice cream. Is it like "real" syrup? No, but the texture and flavor are just enough to make it a nice complement.

You're looking for the "teardrop effect." The best exercise I'm aware of is the leg extension machine. Make sure your toes are pointed outward at the top of the movement.
-
Maybe he lifts Pat Robertson style? Regardless, the bigger crime is the douches who load the leg press machine with multiple plates and then don't re-rack when they're done.
-
OP - You're overthinking it. If you continue to lose weight or consistently come in under your target weight, you aren't consuming enough calories, regardless of how you track them. East 200-300 more calories per day and see if that gets you where you want to be.

I have some MusclePharm Combat Powder CnC that I add to Kodiak Cakes when I want to make them extra proteiny.

I'd say 300-400 calories, depending on the amount of dressing. There don't appear to be much of the more calorie dense items in there - chick peas, quinoa, avocado. Salad looks amazing, BTW.
-
I buy Kirkland brand (comparable to Quest), Pure Protein and Zone bars at Costco. I keep my eyes open online for deals on more premium bars such as Quest and Combat crunch. Rule of thumb, I'll spend less than $1 per bar at Costco and about $1.25 per bar online.

Five times per two weeks = 2.5 times per week. Just do half reps once per week. Problem solved.
-
My opinion: Outside of a few extremes, you should never cut or bulk so much that you are either too big or two small for your clothes. With that in mind, I would start a cut now.
-
What location in the store is this? I've been looking in the upright freezer case with the other frozen treats, bit this looks like someplace else.
-
There's your answer. If you're only interested in calories/macros, don't log veggies.

I travel quite a bit, so I eat out probably 10 or so days a month on average. Otherwise, I'll eat at home at take my wife out to eat about once a week.
