Thanks to everyone who has opened up in this group :) I've struggled with ED since I was 14. And in between my ED years, I have been known to binge. This last year has been really hard - I've been struggling with binge eating which I haven't experienced since high school. I think it partly has to do with the fact that I…

I've never done it but my mom has multiples times. She uses it more as a detox/cleansing after a vacation or holidays. I wouldn't recommend it as a sustainable diet - the menu is pretty limiting and will likely lead you feeling deprived.

Antibiotics and steroids will usually cause people to gain weight/bloat. After you are done with the dosage you should go back to normal though :)

For about 3 weeks I ate about 2 bags of baby carrots per week. I couldn't get enough carrots. Now I'm back to apples. And for some reason I've been craving salmon and have eaten it just 3 times this week

I usually use lunchtime to stock up on fresh fruits and veggies. Usually eat a large Apple, some melon, an orange, or some carrots with hummus. It's quick and easy and filling to me

Recently I just challenged myself to a 30 day challenge of no junk food/eating after dinner. This really helped me because although I now eat some junk foods, I am able to do so in moderation and have yet to have any binges. I don't feel that psychological need to eat at night at all either. I know this isn't for everyone…

A change in diet and/or exercise may be the reason. I usually find the opposite problem, when I started working out and changing my diet I had a lot of breakthrough bleeding.

I think it's doable. I've been running 2-3x a week for probably the last 5 months and just hit running for 50 minutes. I'm probably going to stay around this for a few weeks then go another 5-10 minutes. It's doable but I think it requires patience. For awhile I was just trying to hit 20 min without walking until my body…

This is me! I've been trying really hard to cut back the past month because the scale wasn't moving. Someone recently told me to buy more expensive wine and savor the taste so that you fulfill your need. Also because you spent more money on it you won't want to drink it all at once. Also drink a glass of water before…

I'm not sure how early you're talking about but I work out in the morning (usually around 8-9) and my biggest motivation is knowing how much better I will feel about myself after I work out. Even if I have a "bad" gym session (asthma attack or not doing as much as I know I can) knowing that I still went makes me feel…

Maybe try weighing/measuring your food more often - You may be consuming more calories than you think. Also, I'm a big believer in understanding what foods make you gain weight and lose weight since everyone is different. Try switching up your routine foods with something different.
