I love Huel- I make it thick as well, if you use the right savoury seasonings I think it's a lot like hummus :)

When i remember I try to focus on what's excellent about the foodage- or what could be better, 'bit salty' etc stops my brain wandering off-piste
-
I go without distractions (tv/ radio/ newspaper) and keep asking myself about the food- what's good or bad about it, if I could improve it & how... Of if it's pure bliss :) everytime my mind wanders I try to bring it back to critically analysing it

31 cals for 4.2 g fiber isn't bad is it! I have them with scrambley egg or cottage cheese in top :)

I don't eat meat so have to try and tuck protein into all things to hit my target (80-100g)... So I have egg whites with pretty much everything- little mushroomy stir-fries for breakfast even. I chose vegetables with higher protein (especially broccoli & peas ) I dollop cottage cheese and/or quark on most things, and…

Protein bars :) I can be properly hungry- maybe even hangry- and one of those babies sorts me right out, whilst keeping my protein on track

Mash it into low fat cottage cheese, and add stevia- I make it into a yummy paste- feels uncooked cookie dough :)

Scandinavian crispbreads (holland and barratts sell them) -they have 4.2g fibre per slice (31 kcals) . They taste of cardboard but are an easy way to keep the fiber up without having a lot of carb cals if you don't want them :)

That mushrooms are mainly little puffs if potassium and not much else :) Also I noticed this on the labels of spices... a lot of them I use thinking I'm dodging salt (eg mild chilli powder) but have recently noticed they actually have salt listed in their ingredients also :|

Look good for a day... or achieve something that you'll be proud of forever? :) though as everyone says- you do look amazing now. That said I get your internal struggle. I imagine in your shoes I would be tempted to continue with the marathon in mind for a month more, then have a month of cutting (for the dress), and then…

I can see where you're coming from, but I feel sad for anyone who gets into that state. I guess they're 'cheating the system' when they can accelerate their weight loss, but then they've probably lived an unhappier life than they might have had for years. If it can get people on track then good for them. It would still…

Totally agree with this one- I have a polar loop & I love fizzing about inefficiently. Plus it makes an inconvenient 'damn I left this/that upstairs' turn into 'yay more steps!' Love this little conscience on my wrist :)

I think the green tea weight loss thing is supposedly because it's a mild appetite suppressant- that smoothie looks yum  but I'm guessing it's about 200-300 cals? :open_mouth:

I have a peppermint tea brewing so I have that to go straight to after eating, stops me thinking about another mouthful of nom food :)

Just discovered coconut water is v good for potassium

Granola... I used to love nibbling on a handful dry. Then I started MFP and decided to have a little handful, weighed it... and then realised half of my bodyweight is probably past dry granola nibbles. Also sauces knowledge made me sad- I used to be all about the sauces (not Mayo, but tomato/ horseradish/ mustard/tartare &…

Oh and you can get peanut hot drinks!! they're about 80 cals

Someone on here mentioned cottage cheese with cocoa and a bit of stevia tastes like a choc desert- I've not yet tried it bit it sounds promising  I'm on poverty macros also so I try to fashion up exciting things from nothing... Also there are loads of amazing teas which can definitely keep you busy- ever tried Yogi…

Frozen yoghurt- 'licks' brand banana & honey is super sexy :) Also have you tried making iced coffees? I do them with lots of ice so they come out thick like sorbets. I recommend using flavoured instant coffees for extra fun points. Also check out Monin sugarfree syrups- to me they taste exactly like the sugared versions-…

I'm on poverty macros, still leave couple humdred cals spare for drinkies, which I have more than couple of hundred cals worth of... if I'm gonna be fat I definitely wanna be drunk :D

thanks  Unfortunately I'm getting rather good with the chopsticks, I need to find some more advance level ones to keep the challenge. Perhaps weighted ones are the way forward? Get some cheeky lifts in

I used a fork to eat soup in a restaurant once :) totally got judged

Ah but the more incompetent you are with the sticks the longer your food lasts :) that's the beauty of it
-
Steam it.... Pop it next to a bit of fish :) That's right fishies for breakfast... I stopped eating meat last year and now the fishies must pay the price :D
-
Yeah totally- I thought I should test the weirdness waters with the popcorn confession, but I often eat with chopsticks for self pacing... only around people who know and accept my weirdness though :D (or on my lonesome) My other weapon of choice is the mighty teaspoon. I never can fully enjoy food by knife and fork. I'll…

& I eat popcorn with chopsticks :) lasts longer, much longer

Amazing thread :D I'd always been worried that everyone else was normal I have asparagas for breakfast, to flush out any pesky water weight :)

A snack- pop a portabella in the microwave for 2 mins, then pop an egg white in its dent, microwave a bit more then sprinkle a bit of garlic powder on top... I like to then add a tsp of quark for extra protein. Works out at about 70kcal & is nom :)
