That's a very good list. I prefer kneeling cable kick backs as it gives more focus on my glutes. I also love the glute/ham machine...well I hate it actually but love the results. It's super hard to do. I make sure to work my glute meds as well using cables lifting my leg to the side. Love sumo squats too with a bar or…

The regular ones don't but there's ones packaged as a "seasoning mix" that have salt added...like lemon pepper and garlic & Herb seasoning etc. You're fine with the regular plain ones like oregano etc.

Start doing weights. Shoulders, biceps and triceps. Gradually up the weight.

I have my shakes as snacks. Usually before a workout and after. Mainly just to up my protein.

Just make a joke out of it and they'll get the hint.

Oreo quest bar is amazing as well as white chocolate raspberry. I'll have a no sugar jello pudding that you find in the fridge section of the grocery store. Or I'll make a protein pudding with a scoop of chocolate protein powder, a little no sugar jello pudding powder, some water and then microwave it and keep stopping and…

Don't go out to eat but bring your own lunch to work? Saves you money too and keeps your diet on track. Unless you want to check out the waitresses then just order water haha

Celestial Seasonings acai mango zinger or raspberry zinger. So.Very.Good.

I haven't heard of anything herb, spice wise that causes weight loss...just helps with other issues. Yes, cinnamon has good benefits and I take tumeric for help with aches and pains...it's a good anti-inflammatory. Could be a placebo thing but anything to help me from popping aleve or naproxen.

Very true! People definitely have strengths when they start out and they build on that. Some activities (yoga is perfect example because it uses everything in your body) really show where you need to work to get better and everyone has an area that's weaker than other areas. For me it's my back. I have very little…

For hack squats, I use a machine as they're pretty hard to do without support. There's only 3 squat racks at my gym and they're used a lot so many times I have to use the smith machine to do my squats. No biggie. I prefer regular squats but the smith is fine too.

You can add lots of herbs and spices too...just avoid the ones with high salt...Mrs Dash makes lots of nice no sodium ones if you want to combine them with regular ones like basil, oregano, etc.

Not rubbish...not inferior...just pointing out differences and it's not a rule as there's lots of flexible guys that can do every pose. Just saying many struggle with flexibility and that's it. It's something that gets better though if you keep stretching. I also said men can do other poses easily like handstands. It took…

I'm working on the secondary series in Ashtanga. I think it will take years to get them all.

Many just lack the flexibility in their hips and hamstrings. You see it when you're doing forward fold and your hands can touch the ground and my face can touch my shins or poses that require very open hips like firefly (Tittibhasana) but in areas where more strength is required, they excel in that part...like arm balances…

Wow, quite the thread here. I posted before reading everything. I've never really thought about it. I just hit the gym, do my workout and leave. The only imbalance I ever see between men and women is in yoga.

I have half a banana a day on top of my oatmeal. Sometimes I'll have one after a workout when I'm exhausted and need a sugar hit.

I'm in Canada and they aren't here yet but I can't wait to give them a try.
-
I haven't tried it but am curious. I love their white chocolate raspberry bars. I use UMP protein powder and it's very tasty.

I don't really eat bread much. I always have oatmeal in the morning and for dinner I'll have my starch with brown rice or sweet potato etc. so that leaves lunch and I'm not really a sandwich person. I'd rather have a salad with chicken, shrimp or tuna on it or some homemade soup.
-
If you're always hungry, along with upping your protein why not have more roughage with veggies? Have a huge salad, or make a homemade veggie soup? Soup is a good thing to make. I throw in tons of veggies and two containers of no salt chicken or vegetable stock and a large bowl keeps me full for quite awhile. Carrots have…

Soy is a natural estrogen so I avoid consuming anything with soy if I can. I know when one of my best friends had cancer she was advised to not consume soy products from her naturopath...she was put into medical menopause as estrogen isn't a good thing with breast cancer, so that freaked me out when I heard that.

kneeling cable kick backs works amazing. Grab a bench and adjust the height so when kneeling your straight leg can clear the floor. Hook up the leg not kneeling with an ankle band attached to the lower cable, kneel on the bench and kick the leg back to hip height with a flexed foot.

I do the same exercises as men but with lower weight.

I like brown rice pasta

I really want to try these prot ein bars and see how they measure up to Quest ones.
