Gah, yes! I forgot about boiling eggs. I boil a dozen on Sundays.

I buy the boneless, skinless chicken thigh fillets in the frozen bag and cook them all on Sunday. I divide the meat into ~3 ounce servings and put one in the fridge and freeze the rest for the week. In the morning, I grab one, some carrot slices, a piece of Laughing Cow light Swish Cheese, and maybe a dill pickle or some…

That's what I used it for. It wasn't bad, just too too salty! I've made soups out of it, too.

Yeah, I know it's nasty, but I made something with canned chicken breast :/ The label said the whole can was ~6 servings at 2 ounces per serving (12.5 ounces total). When I drained the water away, the remaining chicken weighed only 8 ounces, (which is 4 servings at 2 ounces per) so they were counting the water as part of…

Here's what works for me: Use this application, and use it every day to log what you eat. And I don't mean guess! Try to be as accurate as possible, for at least the first week. I want you to see how much you do eat in a normal day. Then, look for areas you can most easily make cuts. (I switched from bagged microwave…

Yes, it's possible. Several factors involved, but it's possible. Since February, I'm averaging about 18 pounds a month. However, I am a male (not sure if that matters), I am 6'3" tall, and I began at 286 pounds. I'm 228 or so right now and still dropping, so it is possible.

Haha, sorry, I didn't make the "Burger GOOD" face!

So, I posted a picture earlier...and then realized I am wearing the same shirt today as I was in my 'before' picture lol Early February to 15 minutes ago.
-
For real, January 14 and the second one is April 12, and I am down another 15 pounds since then.
-
^^Absolutely^^ I am averaging 4 pounds a week. From February 15 to today I have gone from mid-280s to 233.

If you can create a caloric deficit of 1167 calories per day for 150 days, you'll be very close to 50 pounds down. You need to know what you eat on average now. You can cut your calories by 800 per day, find a way to get 400 calories of physical exercise every day over your BMR, and get there in 5 months. By the calculator…

Yes, it's possible. I've lost 50+ pounds in 2015. However, I am 6'3" tall and started at 286 pounds.

You said she was at 160 pounds and 5'3. That's kinda rotund...she has the weight to lose. So, how long has she been consuming 800 cals per day and exercising 5 days a week? For two weeks? A month? 3 days?
-
I concur---if she's at 800 per day, it'll be very difficult to maintain, even with drugs, and she'll give up quickly. More than likely, she's doing like maidentl says and consuming far more than she thinks she's eating.
-
So glad I'm a male and don't have to worry about this stuff! That's a great accomplishment on losing 60 pounds! Nice! As far as your fears: lol, Chill out. You think too much. People aren't paying that much attention to you. Seriously, you're so worried about what other people are thinking that you cannot enjoy your weight…

OK, made it back. Here are a few things I recommend: Get a notebook, or use MFP to log what you eat, how much you ate, how FAST you ate, and how much fluid you had with it. It's incredible the difference I've noticed by slowing down and chewing my food and having plenty of water or other fluid with my meals. For YEARS I…

I have Crohns. Had a resection in 2006, suffered with symptoms since 1996. I'm virtually symptom-free now. Crap...my appointment is here....I shall return!

Our coaches just had us do the same exercises in our regular clothes. In the Army, we'd get PT'ed for forgetting stuff and wearing the wrong clothes. I thought it was stupid to make people view exercise as a punishment. Push-ups, sit-ups, flutter kicks, running, all for punishment---great way to teach a healthy lifestyle.…

Lol...well, you post on the forums and people respond.

I have enjoyed little milestones along the way... I started at 286 pounds. At 275, I weighed what I weighed at 28 years old. At 260, I weighed the same as I did when I worked hard and got some pounds off back in 2010. At 250 I was at the weight I reached in 2007 after a painful breakup. At 235 (hit it last week), I was…

Hello there, Rachel. Good job on the ten pounds. That's big news! You know, friends on here can be positive and urge you on, but ultimately, you've got to want to make the changes. I believe you can do this. I believe you're ready to do this. I believe in you. ;) Brandon

I forgive myself for being tricked. I forgive myself for being trusting. I forgive myself for loving what turned out to be a despicable "human being." But her? No. Lol, that thing is only worth the lesson it taught me. Never again.

Never forgive, never forget. Not this one. This one is rotten to the core. I've dated and loved a lot of women, but this one...this is one out of 40 or so I wish wish wish I'd never met. Never ever ever met. Pure. Bred. Trash. I guess the part that bothers me the most is that I saw the Trash labels early on, but thought…

My last girlfriend was a despicable person. She's the only woman I've ever dated that I have I'll feelings towards. Absolute trash. And what she did to me was well beyond anything I ever considered one human being would be capable of doing to another. But she did it. Purposefully. So, I'm angry. I'm 6'3" tall, large…
