Hi there...I'm 5'2"...over 50 and currently weigh 154.2lbs. I'm down 14.6lbs. since starting March 2014. My plan is low carb, higher protein and MOVING!!! LOL I want to add that during that time I even went on 2 vacations...Las Vegas and to an all inclusive in Cancun! MFP is certainly helping me to get to my goal of 135.

I've lost almost 14 lbs (.4 to go, lol)...I'm loving shopping in my closet, wearing those clothes that didn't fit any more. I agree with Azuraen...change is a good thing :-) In the end...YOU will be YOU, just a better version of YOU!

Thyroid cancer (metastatic, papillary) survivor here (Jan 2011). Done a total thyroidectomy, RAI treatment and so far no evidence of disease...but it's always in the back of my mind.
