If you are going to set a goal and stick to it, a FitBit is worth it. The information is valuable if you use it, as a novelty, it's overpriced and you can get okay results using a step app on your iPhone.

My wife was taking forever shopping, so I decided to take selfie.

The Polar V800 has pretty high reviews for GPS accuracy.

Quiting is no easy task, it requires more than just putting down the smokes. You need to identify your triggers, going out with coworkers, driving, drinking, etc. and figure out a strategy to handle your cravings. When I threw away mine, I kept gum in my car and started walking in the skyway during my work breaks. It does…

You need to look beyond what they do in the gym/studio and look at what happens in the kitchen. I can guarantee that you will see a drastic difference between the diet of a Power Lifter and a Yogi.

I'd do more than kiss her

I stare at people when they have insanely poor form, when I'm trying to figure out what they heck they are doing, and that girl with the tight *kitten* and legs doing squat in tiny little shorts (she smiles when she catches me).

I'll be turning 40 in May and trying to my body weight and composition back to what it was during my mid-20's. Been on and off MFP for awhile now, it was SparkPeople before that. Always willing to add new friends.

Without paying an insane amount of money, no home scale is going to be 100% accurate. Pick one to use and be consistent.

Nothing like almost purchasing overpriced expired groceries, makes me glad that I don't shop at Target.

I have crazy gas when I have too much sugar.

Here's the deal, your husband is not responsible for what you eat. If you would like him to be more supportive you need to help him understand why and how he can be more supportive. Don't expect him to magically have all kinds of knowledge on what you are trying to do without informing him first. Bottom line, your body =…

Part of the diet or not, an orange isn't going to hurt.

What does your fluid intake look like? Sometimes dehydration will mask itself as hunger as well. I agree with the other statements, just wanted to toss another idea out there. http://www.livestrong.com/article/441564-difference-between-being-hungry-and-thirsty/…

Mental training is just as important as physical training. Your body is going to hurt, you will be in pain. Through years of painful runs in the Army I learned how to mentally disassociate while focusing on my breathing, stride, arm position. Good luck!

Flirting can be a slippery slope. I used to have a mutually flirtatious relationship with one of my co-workers, we both understood the limits. One night we were both pretty drunk at a work happy hour, as the night wound down our flirting went further than either of us had intended. It's not that flirting is inherently…

I had a FitBit Zip and changing the battery got too expensive, then I purchased a FitBit One and it stopped accurately counting my steps after a couple years. Currently I wear a Polar M400; it's more accurate, can be paired with a HRM (and other stuff), and has a GPS for tracking where you went during your workouts.

Feel free to add me

Anyone can feel free to add me.

Google "Pedometer" there are some cheap ones out there. I don't recommend shelling out the cash for a Fitbit on an 8 year old. Here's one for $20…

<a href= .... ahhh, who am I kidding, it's been over 10 years since I've coded in html. What do you want your FitBit to track? Have you looked at other activity monitors?

Is this really an internet debate, has society really sunk to this level? Knock of their door and talk to them ... it's not rocket science.
